  1. 3-0!!!!!!! - Lallana!!!!!!!!
  2. Really? What makes you so suspicious?
  3. Indeed. Just need Barnsley to score now to send Pompey bottom!
  4. FFS! We never score from corners!
  5. ***BREAKING NEWS*** Portsmouth have announced they are to merge with Havant & Waterloovile with immediate effect. The club will henceforth be known as Portalooville.
  6. Sounds like we let them back into it for the last 10 minutes of that half. Would have been nice to go in to the break with a bigger cushion but I still can't see us losing this now. One more goal should be enough I reckon - Derby have really struggled to score away from home recently.
  7. OOooh. Ricky close from the free kick there. Corner
  8. Not sure. BBC Sport shows he had been booked already.
  9. A goal for Barnsley now and they would be bottom!
  10. Kitson red-carded at Barnsley! Hahahahahahahaha!
  11. Dave Merro: "Derby cannot handle Lallana at the moment". Bexy likes this
  12. Keeper sounds very suspect. I'd like to see/hear us launching whatever we can at him.
  13. Naaaa, can't have!
  14. Another corner. Rubbish - we never score from them........
  15. Keep on saying things like that, yeah?
  16. JOSSSS!!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!! Hooiveld you bloody lovely!
  17. Will be interesting to see how this turns out as we have a completely different right side from the last two matches. Surprising that Harding is preferred at RB considering Butters just signed a new contract, and no place even on the bench for Guly. Injured perhaps? Looks a strong starting 11 though, with some very good options from the bench as well. No reason we can't beat these lot today.
  18. From BBC Sport... Southampton 01 Davis 03 Harding 06 Fonte 13 Fox 26 Hooiveld 04 Schneiderlin 08 Cork 18 Chaplow 20 Lallana 07 Lambert 11 Sharp Substitutes 16 Martin 14 Hammond 42 Puncheon 19 Lee 22 Connolly

  20. True, but it does mean they will almost certainly beat Donny Rovers today (in fairness they probably would have anyway) meaning that Pompey will escape from going bottom of the league.
  21. Of course Mr Birch will be wanting to make the club as attractive an investment as possible, that's a given. But to do so he must thoroughly review the accounts and determine the extent of the company's financial situation first, and if he were to cover up anything he found that could be viewed as either against FL rules or, worse, against the law then he would be just as guilty as the shysters that have placed the club in its current position. Perhaps I am being naive, but considering he has been placed there by the court at the request of HMRC, I don't believe he would risk his credibility in that way. Edit: I see ESB has already made exactly the same point.
  22. Looks unlikely I'm afraid. Had a look at a few streaming sites and they are all showing the FA cup games today, and only Forest v Coventry in the NPC. Another afternoon with Dave for me then... Great!
  23. I wouldn't be so sure. Points deductions aren't given solely for administration and insolvency events - just ask Luton Town. Now that there is an independent and professional administrator in place, a thorough investigation of the goings on of the last few years might actually take place and if 'irregularities' are found then they might find themselves hit with further deductions.
  24. Is that really a bad thing though? OK we won't have the world's best players playing in the PL any more, but ticket prices would be lower and we could look forward to watching teams consisting of more home-grown talent who wear the shirt with pride rather than for the financial reward. The PL money may well have attracted some very talented players over the last 20 years, but it has also attracted some arrogant d**kheads who I would rather not pay stupid money to watch.
  25. Having twice been involved in redundancy consultation situations in my working life I can safely say, without fear of contradiction, that staff morale will fall through the floor over the coming days/weeks.
