Yeah that's my reading of it as well. They avoided a further points deduction first time round by manipulating the creditors into agreeing a CVA, but if they fail to meet the agreed payments on that CVA then they should receive the same points deduction that they would have received if it was not agreed in the first place - IMO anyway.

Definitely thick! It's basically just the uneducated and deluded fans who think that now they are in admin everything is hunky-dory again and they can carry on as before, and as they only have 14 fit senior players then it's only fair if the FL let them bring in some more players on loan. I haven't heard any noises from the club itself alluding to the loaning in of more players. They can't even afford to pay the ones they already have FFS!

What makes me giggle is that for the last two years we have been trying and trying and trying to tell Corp Ho ho ho that the CVA is yet to be serviced and his comeback has always been that it IS being serviced because the first payment was not due yet. Here we are just a few weeks before the first payment was due and, lo and behold - Skates back in admin and no hope of the first payment being made as agreed. Is this your idea of servicing a CVA then Mr Ho? Default on it before the first payment is made in the hope of negotiating another one?

It's been at least 3 hours now since the court approved Pompey's request for administration. Why haven't the FL deducted the 10 points yet? I realise they may be waiting to see if they can deduct any more, but they have rules that must be followed and there can be no doubt whatsoever that Pompey have now enacted an insolvency event which should immediately trigger a 10-pt deduction - regardless of what further deductions there might be.

You mean, if somebody were to contact the police and allude to the possibility that there may or may not be some kind of explosive device hidden somewhere on the premises, meaning they would have to evacuate the building while they conducted a thorough, room-by-room search? Just watched the highlights on Saintsplayer... Looked like a handball from Jos and maybe should have been a pen, but couldn't really tell if there was contact on Noble for the one they did get. Reaction of the Saints players suggests not. Not sure what the other 'dead cert penalty' that Fat Sam was on about was. Definite red card for Taylor - grabbed Sharp by the throat and shoved him. Doesn't matter how Sharp reacted (I don't think he overplayed it TBH but then I guess I am a bit biased) - it's violent conduct and a red card, end of. Can't believe Sharp didn't score when Green parried Lallana's shot. The whole goal to aim for and he basically passed it back to Green. Oh well, it happens - he will get goals for us I'm sure of that.

I agree with all of this but must take issue with the bit in bold. Is there some law somewhere that dictates we must have a main rival? Couldn't we just go back to the days before the hatred between us and Pompey erupted and we all got along nicely?

Bugger. Could and maybe should have won that given our possession and chances. But we've taken 4 points off them now and stayed within a point, and we have a good run of very winnable games coming up now so I reckon we can still overtake them.
