  1. Still no analysis of whether or not Moore was offside then.
  2. And leave Edwards and Quarshie as a pair? No thanks. Stephens may be incredibly limited, but he's not our worst CB on the pitch today.
  3. Not impressed at all with Edwards. Made a right hash of trying to control the ball there and leaves a huge gap behind him for them to attack.
  4. Not a foul on Jay-Rob. But the challenge on Downes immediately afterwards clearly was.
  5. Very poor decision making from Arms there. We had an overload in the box and he fluffed it.
  6. We've got 4 on the bench. I wouldn't even wait til HT to swap one of them for Armstrong. He's been completely useless in this formation.
  7. That's a hot take. Looked a very blatant shove to me. Just look at the extension of his arms. That's not the action of someone just trying to avoid a collision.
  8. Utterly pointless launching long balls forward like that when the only man up front to receive it is Arma.
  9. Did the tater just say that WS wants us to be front footed and aggressive?
  10. That's a let off.
  11. Keifer Moore is a bit of a prick isn't he.
  12. I'll keep my eyes open wide to see how well they perform.
  13. No, but on the right of a front 3 was where he was very effective for us last time in the championship, and it looks like that's his role today. Just not sure exactly where and how Fraser and Robinson will line up.
  14. Probably not strong enough with his hands for that.
  15. #scartissue
  16. Well if Disney are gonna make a shit load of $$$ from it, you might as well profit too.
  17. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. He could be as miserable and robotic as Marvin the android as far as I'm concerned, as long as the team is playing well and and winning regularly I don't give a shit.
  18. If nobody matches our valuation for him between now and September, I highly doubt anyone will in January either. Not unless they're really desperate. Otherwise they will just wait until next summer when they can get him for much less.
  19. Now TV is just an extension of Sky. So you'll need to buy a day pass for £14.99 if you don't already subscribe.
  20. Remember the "There's no money left" note that Liam Byrne jokingly penned in 2010? That was used by so many on the right to excuse poor government performance for many years after Cameron & Clegg took office. And now many of the same people* seem to expect Labour to have completely fixed the absolute clusterfuck they inherited within a year. And this isn't meant as a ringing endorsement of Starmer and Reeves' performance in government, because clearly they've made a lot of mistakes so far and I'm far from impressed with them. But I'm not dumb enough to expect miracles from them either. * Not referring to anyone specifically on this thread, just right wing commentators in general.
  21. Two words for you: Scar tissue 😉
  22. I was just wondering how many players have played for both clubs in the past, and the first one that came to mind was Barry Horne. A quick Google search indicates that Paul Jones had a brief loan spell there as well, a few years after he left us.
  23. Appreciate your considered response. It's interesting how different people perceive things differently though, because from my perspective the opposite is true and they've actually shown themselves to be further to the right than their election campaign / manifesto suggested. I acknowledge that financial markets etc... are not my area of expertise. But I work for an arms length government body and there's not a single change that I've seen since last year's GE that suggests the current government are any more left wing than the previous one. If anything they've gone the other way in my sector and are pandering even more to corporate lobbyists in their insatiable drive for growth, much to the dismay and disappointment of many of my colleagues.
  24. Under Corbyn, yes. But Kier Starmer is not, and never has been a socialist, and nothing this government had done over the last 12 months fits squarely in the pigeonhole of socialism. In many aspects, quite the opposite in fact. So it would appear that your beef with them is based on assumptions about what the Labour party used to be, rather than what they actually are now. Which suggests you're not really in a strong position to be belittling other people's understanding of government and economics.
  25. Yes, and when even the lamb starts complaining about the farmer's lack of inches, that's when you know he's got real problems.
