It's a tough one this season and that makes a nice difference from last. Right now I'd jointly give it to Peretz and Larin, one has been transformational at the back and the other has been transformational at the front. Could change though post playoffs....

I'd try and get an early goal, see if we can exploit their brittle confidence and induce a wobble. The 4-0 was a different era, this team is confident and has been recently battle tested in knock out conditions against top quality opposition. Also we still have players that remember winning the playoffs 2 years ago, that's worth a lot. We need to show them respect, they are dangerous, but if we play at our best we should have the edge over 2 legs.

Funny one this, if we could win there is a decent chance Boro will lose and we'd get the home advantage in the playoffs but then again we really could do with resting some players after such a tough schedule. Also Boro will probably be going for it because they have a tiny shot at top 2 + they want to get 3\4th at least. Overall I'd side with resting players vs getting the 3/4 position, we need them for the playoffs and I think we can beat Boro whatever the order of games anyway.

Fair enough, decent game against arguably the best 2 teams in the champ. If we weren't so tired I think we could have won that one. Difficult to know how I feel about that result, on one hand top 2 is out but it basically was anyway. Also we may not get playoff home advantage now, that's a pain. On the other Ipswich should now be out of the playoffs and depending on what Tonda thinks our chances of overhauling Boro are we may finally be able to rest some key players before the playoffs

IMO he looks like he's going to manage a very big club one day, maybe someone like Bayern. He gives off a really professional aura and has a real eye for detail. Hopefully we can go up with him and keep him here for a while yet. I'm sure he's already on a few radars.

Whilst top 2 is now Ipswich's to lose we still want 3/4th home advantage in the playoffs to take it to the last game to keep the momentum going Plenty still for us in this game.

Pushed arguably the best team in the country all the way and scored a fantastic goal in the process. We were brilliant today and gave Citeh a better game than probably most prem teams have done all season. Let's beat Ipswich now and take it to the last game.
-
I'm confident Millwall and Ipswich will slip up somewhere. The pressure, the fact that anyone can beat anyone in this league and their form suggests we will get a chance. We always make the opposition out to be giants but Millwall and Ipswich are very catchable, a slip up in the 90th minute may be all it takes. IMO I can see a 3 way shootout on the last day, whoever has the biggest balls takes the prize. Also let's be honest, top 2 is a bonus hit. We never ever expected to be here in the first place and if we don't quite make it I'd still fancy us to do the business in the playoffs. Right now I think we are the best team in there.

I reckon if we win the next 4 we'll have a better than 50:50 chance of top 2. Ipswich are average away and also play Boro. One more loss would see us level, let's see how they deal with the pressure. Can't see Boro pulling out of their nose dive enough for top 2. Millwall could win all 4 but one slip up would be all we need. Their form is pretty average right now. Buckle up, this could get very tight.

. Grab 3 more wins before Citeh and we're mathematically certain for playoffs. TBH there's every chance it will be even less. If we are booked for playoffs that gives Tonda the breathing space to put out a full strength team and have a real tilt for the final. I want us to give Citeh a real game. Pretty sure Ipswich will be a dead rubber now so Tonda will be able to rest key playersbefore the playoffs.

Fantastic win tonight, I really thought this was going to be tight but in the end Wrexham were blown away. We are really starting to breathe down the necks of Ipswich, Millwall and Boro now. They will be feeling the pressure, let's see how they deal with it. GD was really boosted too, that could be crucial at the end. Ipswich's next game is Norwich (a) - v.tough derby -and they have us and Boro I think. If we could pull level most would back us to get it done.
-
I wonder if Norwich could gatecrash the playoffs? Probably not which is a good thing because I would not fancy playing them.
-
And that ladies and gentlemen is why we all love the cup. Awesome performance all round. Now let's have a repeat on Tuesday, they are all cup games now.
-
Give the FA cup the respect it deserves so get in their faces and leave it on the pitch. Let's give this a real go.
-
With Boro in freefall and Hull stuttering 4th is definitely on and we get playoff home advantage. Top 3 is a step too far.
-
Play to win, full strength team please. They won't fancy a trip down here. If we go out we go out with our heads held high and if we win then it's on to the semi.

Peretz v Bazunu is not even a contest. Putting aside his individual mistakes it's the psychological effect Baz would have had on the defence, making them have to overcompensate for him and affecting their own games. It's strange why this club was so happy to play fast and loose with the GK. It's such an important position. Our best teams were built on top class GK's like Shilton and Niemi. If we go up I'd be happy to see Peretz between the posts.

In terms of pure emotion Henri Camara's goal against Norwich would take some beating. It was a really tense cracking game and when that one went in the roof nearly blew off.

Good solid performance in what could have been a real 'park the bus' banana skin type game. Now we are top 6 next target should be 3/4th. Millwall have Boro (a) and Norwich (h). Let's hope they drop some points and give us an opening. Of course there is the small matter of Wrexham (a) but they'll come at us which should suit our game. We can get something there. Plenty more twists and turns in this crazy league.
-
Forget their league position, they have hit a run of form plus they will be happy to park the bus and go away with a 0-0. Hopefully we'll break through early and force them out of their shells but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a tough grind. They got 0-0's at Cov and Boro so they are well capable of getting something here Do not underestimate them.
-
6 points from Cov (a) and Norwich (h) is phenomenal. We just beat the 2 form teams in 5 days and none of the other play off teams will be wanting to play us. We've also surely killed off any faint hopes Norwich had for playoffs, good because I wouldn't fancy meeting them. Peretz is my MoM, what a difference a class keeper makes The guy is a prem keeper in the champ. Need to go up to have any chance of keeping him.
-
This is a real tough one, get 3 points here and we'll be well set. Weirdly enough I quietly fancied us to get something at Cov but I feel more apprehensive about this one. Norwich are in a false position, they really should be fighting for playoffs but just like us they screwed up the first half of the season and will probably miss out. Right now though they are bang in form - just like us. Also they still have a faint playoff chance which will motivate them to reduce the gap between us. Hopefully we get the win but this will be really close.

Brilliant performance, best result of the season and a superb way to bounce back from the WBA game. Peretz had a phenomenal game and that save was Niemi'esque, can't praise it higher than that. *BUT* this result will be worth nothing if we don't convert against a dangerous Norwich team. They are like us in that they had a terrible start - even worse than ours - but have since got their mojo back and are looking good. Just like us they are in a false position, probably should be where we are whereas we should be top 2. After that is Oxford then the crunch game at Wrexham. It doesn't get any easier does it.
