Good win, Bristol City are an awkward opponent so glad to get the 3 points. Our form is 14 pts from 7 games, top 2 territory but 3 tricky games coming up. We may get lucky playing a wobbly Wrexham after a Spam spanking. Portsmouth will be awkward for obvious reasons and Norwich (a) will be tough. IMO 6 points would be par for the course from that lot and keep us on track. Squad fitness looks good, GD is 2nd highest in the div and the train is now rolling. We just need to keep it up.

IMO there are at least 2 teams in this league capable of 90+ points so I think 2 per game (92 over the season) would put us in the final mix. We need to make SMS a fortress, starting on Saturday.

A club whose stated ambition is to get top 2 needs to win at places like Lincoln. It's 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained. A buoyant Swansea and Bristol C up next, we need to get moving.

Wow, I was not expecting us to turn over a decent Millwall team quite like that. I think the 26/27 Saints are officially up and running. We need to build on this momentum, start moving like a steam train. Next 4-6 games is where the leading pack break away.

I don't see this as nostalgic, I think in this league it's actually a very good signing. We know he has a good engine on him, stays fit, can ping in a mean cross\free kick and now has a tonne of experience to draw on. IMO he should be a top midfielder in the division.

I'm thinking less Jose Fonte and more Killer Svensson. I really hope so.

I like the look of him and I agree that he could forge a very fruitful partnership with Azaz. Whilst he loses to Stewart in experience he gains in physical fitness and availability. IMO he looks like a solid striker at this level and given decent service he may turn out to be good\very good. Let's see.

The performance may not have been up to last year but this league is all about momentum and who gets going the quickest. Follow this up with wins against Spam and Millwall and our tails will be up and performances will turn up.

Why are we always such poor starters? Got to get that board ticking against Stoke, cannot afford another lazy start to this season.

Wouldn't the whole league be on 2 points except Watford and our 2nd opponent? Would be the perfect scenario. 2-1 to us, I think we'll see a determined display up there.

If he stays healthy it's a cracking signing for them, when fit he was great. Was kinda hoping we might have kept him but if a player wants out there's no point keeping them against their will. Best of luck to Ross. So, who is going to replace him?

Typical England, somehow they always manage to find a way to shit the bed. Been watching them screw up since 82, they'll never change. Thinking you can score and then shut the shop for a half against the world's best is the English disease. Once they inevitably score you have nothing left because you abandoned any pretence of attacking football back in the 1st half. Anyway, screw them, they aren't worth the bother. Argie tactics are to foul, pull shirts, look to get something for any touch and hopefully rely on a bit of Messi magic. England need to play above their shithousery.

Another great signing and together with Peretz + Larin will help persuade any waverers. We are building for a top 2 challenge.

Injuries withstanding he's a great striker at this level so I hope we manage to keep him. The club should orient any new contact more to a pay per play basis to protect us from more long term injury. In terms of ambition where else is he going to get a better deal? A prem club? Just can't see it. Questions about his ability\injuries would put them off. Celtic\Rangers? Unlikely - injury record. Another prem chasing champ club - same again PLUS why not just stay? Decent European club? Injuries again. Any other club outside of these would be a downward trajectory.

Brilliant day, another player who we know can do the business up front and who will hit the ground running on day 1. Larin for me was another key player in our unbeaten run. Also this may give any waverers food for thought about staying. It's quickly coming together.

Fingers crossed on this one, a keystone signing who may sway other players to stick with it for another go at promotion. It's going to be a much tougher league next year, Peretz would be a huge asset.
