these two sides couldn't score in a brothel

whoops, corrected 🤣

Fantastic game earlier, Egypt really only have themselves to blame. They had the game won and then imploded with some lousy defending and Messi doing what Messi has always done. Yup some VAR decisions were questionable but we all know VAR is shit and thats one of the reasons we enjoyed the Championship so much last season. I said at the start of this tournament Argentina were not particularly good having watched a lot of their qualifiers. They rely so much on their talisman and he has not failed to deliver in every game he's played in this tournament. He took his goal magnificently. Should we get to the semi final and Argentina do likewise we should be confident of beating them providing we are not without the likes of Bellingham and Rice who are sitting on yellow cards ahead of the Norway game.

absolutely correct!

The fact he gets to play is not the players fault and he will not have instigated this and I hope the Belgium players are not as petty as some.

Was it a red card in the first place? Personally i do not think so and thought the ref bottled it. Is it correct the red card has been overturned? Morally yes because it wasn't a red card incident. However there is no appeal process for red cards in this tournament so FIFA have resorted to using some never used before clause in their own rules to overturn it. Corruption? yes but we all knew this the minute rat boy (Ronaldo) was allowed to play in the group games despite being suspended due to his red card prior to the finals. FIFA are so openly corrupt they don't even try to hide it. They need their poster boy and the host Nation (because as far as FIFA are concerned America are the only host nation)

Harsh yellow for Larin, he was fully entitled to go for that loose ball

I'm expecting a very difficult match against Mexico, not because i think they are a particularly good side (they are not) but because we have not played well in this tournament so far apart from 45 minutes against a poor Croatia team and because the altitude will really make it incredibly difficult. Anyone that has holidayed in Peru and visited Lake Titicaca will have experienced the huge difference being at height makes on the human body. 90% of the group i travelled with were unwell for hours because of the change in altitude. Hopefully England win and then it's on to to Spain v Portugal and i just pray to god Spain smash Portugal and send that nauseating strutting peacock into International retirement never to be seen again!

JWP is the complete professional and i have no doubt he has kept his fitness up. He would be a great asset with his experience and in the games i did see him play while out on loan last season i thought he looked one of the better players in the Burnley team. Don't compare him to Romeu who i warned people his legs had gone. Walcott and Lallana were just huge mistakes who clearly were finished.

Hi, I thought i would give you all an update that i have received in the last half an hour from Jordan. I must admit i started to cry. He went out last night with a group of locals to search a building that had collapsed and due to the lack of enough rescuers had so far not been looked at for potential survivors. They have no heavy digging equipment and are just using their hands to remove rubble. They have in the last hour located a male still alive after 9 days of being buried. They have hours ahead of themselves patiently and carefully digging to get him out but it is a miracle they have found someone still alive. I'm not religious but even I am praying for them. Thank you so much to anyone that contributed towards the donation. Jordan has been able to help so many that have lost everything.

We use this travel company quite a bit and every holiday we have had with them has been fantastic including Peru! https://www.exoticca.com/uk

Hi all, some of you may well know my son Jordan who was born and grew up in Southampton supporting Saints, indeed both him and his brother were ballboys for many seasons at the club. He is now the chief scout for American outfit Phoenix Rising but lives and works from his home of 4 years, Caracus, Venezuela. It has as you can imagine been a traumatic time for all of us worrying about him and his wife and 2 daughters. They are amongst the lucky ones to have survived and their building although in one of the worst effected areas is still standing and they may well be able to return to it if it gets the all clear. (it has cracked walls and blown plaster everywhere inside the apartment but that is nothing compared to those that have lost everything) Jordan has turned all his attention, effort and determination into helping those that have nothing. He sent out a message to close family and friends asking for any donation that could be sent to him and family have already been very generous. here is an example of what he sent me. "dad, I see so much inefficiency and lack of co-ordination. the government and authorities don't have a clue and the well-meaning ordinary person just lacks speciality and organisation. but it's the people of this country who are truly special. i have been identifying who i can help comprehensively, and then doing it. someone's back wall to their property fell down...ok, that's a $700 fix..gave him $700 and put him in contact with people i know that can do that job. Someone else living with their elderly parents in guatire lost their apartment and are sleeping in a car park...okay, 2 months rent in that area is $600, gave them $600 and trying to locate a rental. i'm sick of well-meaning people essentially just stood around with all the intention in the world but not really doing anything." As you can see he is very driven to give as much practical help as possible. he hasn't asked me to post this but i can't just sit back and watch. He asked friends and family to donate whatever they could, a little goes a long way in Venezuela. If you would like to help he is collecting money via his Paypal. Jordan Florit@RedWineAndArepas jayflo@hotmail.co.uk thank you for taking the time to read this. Admin if you feel this is inappropriate i understand but hope you feel this is something we can all get onboard with.

Larin got clattered early on in their last game and i pointed out several times i did not think he was moving freely. I hope this had something to do with his omission rather than JM just being a plank.
-
he was clutching his side way before the one on one and is clearly not moving freely. Hope it's more of an impact injury that will wear off rather than muscular

Portugal beat an absolute shockingly bad Uzbekistan who are ranked 50th in the World rankings and we could only draw against a Ghana team ranked 65th! That really says it all because when the smaller nations deploy the low block tactic you really need your creative players to step forward.....unfortunately we left all of ours either sat on the bench too long or back home in England!
-
Lets hope its Real Madrid 😉

I have to say i got Larin very wrong when he first signed for us and i'm big enough to admit it. He is now one of my favourite players probably just behind Scienza. What both players have in common is they are both grafters and both very humble and have taken nothing for granted. I hope he comes back from what is already a successful World Cup for him and Canada firing on all cylinders and ready to score the goals that will make us challengers for promotion this season.

Morocco excellent first half, Scotland awful, Australia masterclass at defending
-
haha at last!
-
wtf has Larin done wrong not to be on the pitch?? The one thing Canada lack is someone who knows where the bloody is!
-
Tonda is not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!
-
retained list is out! Ross is not resigning. Goodbye Romeu
-
I will be amazed if Peretz and Larin have signed without some reassurance regarding Tondas future, not to mention other players that appear to have expressed a desire to stay. For me this all points to the club at least knowing Tonda will be our manager next season.
