Can tell you that Peter Storey came into Southampton on a private plane 2 days ago in the company of ex Spurs and Watford player Ramon Vega. Nothing todo with Saints i'm sure as Vega is into hotels nowadays and a football academy. As silly season has started again just thought i'd add my tuppence worth;)

Not seen this mentioned anywhere else yet. I heard on the radio this morning (WAVE) that we are about to make a loan signing of a 19 year old Everton defender that has played at International level for Englands under 19's. He is said to want first team football and we are lined up to sign him. Really sorry i didn't catch his name but i'm sure someone will have heard apart from me.

The general apathy with Saints is a spreading disease which so far appears incurable. I used to post on here regularly but now hardly ever because i just dont care anymore. Saturdays come and i look forward to playing my own football and hardly bat an eyelid about the Saints score. My wife thinks i've been replaced by an alien, i used to swear and get really angry over results like Saturdays but now it's a case of "oh well" I'll always support Saints but the passion has gone

Ok, if there is even the slightest truth in this rumour and Fallon his face and his cronies have eventually put something together with Arab money....am i the only one worried. This has been the longest takeover saga i can recall with more rumours on here than on a school playground! I have no faith in Merrington whatsoever, Fallonhisface may be a loyal fan but again he has done nothing to install any faith in me....and SHEARER...for pity's sake!!

Roy Keane has been bankrolled and unless there is someone with some serious money to throw about then SHEARER OR ANYBODY ELSE will not have a pot to **** in. A takeover just to replace the current board helps no one.

Frank's cousin I think though whatever the rights and wrongs of the current strategy, we should see it through... further wholescale changes do little for any form of consistency. What we need to be careful of is simple - A change of ownership and nothing more is currently of no advantage to SFC - only to those who despise the current regime. Its also unlikely to happen as Wilde has stated he is unlikely or will not sell simply to change ownership, but only where there is demonstratable cash for long term security - which is fair enough in MHO Completely agree, a change of ownership by itself will be of no benefit. The new regime need to be given a good run at getting things right and what i have seen from the first few games fills me with promise....if only some people will have some patience and not be susceptible to knee jerk reactions!!

LOL, old ammunition and unexploded bombs are regularly dredged up opposite the stadium....cant ever remember any actually going off though

Great news, really feeling positive about the future

Sorry will be playing Saturday morning for my side and for the forum team Sunday morning, so a no this week. I cant believe people turn up for football and dont have a ball in there car???

Wow this thread has developed a bit. I commented to my son halfway through the game that i didnt think the sides were uneven. I honestly thought the difference was in organization, passing and movement. As for the shirt colours i understand some people will only have one or two or may prefer to wear a favourite shirt. We will endeavor next week to be as fair as possible. Enjoy guys, these games are always played in a very good spirit
