the game is against a team i have just started to coach. Anyone that does the reffing job will get no abuse, i can gaurantee that. I will be playing for the forum side and i will make sure the opposition are well aware of what is exceptable.....saying that I KNOW THESE LADS DONT NEED TELLING!!!

Have to admitt i'm i am now seriously worried for the forthcoming season. We start on -10 points with a squad wholley inadequate as it currently stands. We play QPR on Saturday which would have been the last chance for any new players to get a chance to gel! The earlier optimism i had for this season is fast receeding. Don't get me wrong i'm happy to still have a team to support but typically Saints i think our hopes were all raised when this new owner came in.

Sorry for any shouting at the back, i'm so used to barking orders to the Saturday side i play for, still very well done everyone on my side for defending really well and putting in so much effort.

I hope when he says we will need one or two new faces he actually means 5 or 6 new faces at the very least, otherwise we are in for another long hard season.

Really enjoyed it today, very even match. Was amazed it was still 0-0 after 40 minutes but goes to show how much effort was being put in. Was pleased to get a couple of goals, especially the header from the corner. Looking forward to next week already

Totally agree. I havent got overly excited about our new rich owner, just mighty glad the club is alive and kicking. I expect us to survive in this league this season and if lucky maybe even get to the playoffs.....but realistically i expect next season would be the one to look for promotion.

Just need the correct choice of manager now!

Bloody hell these new guys don't mess about do they. They obviously knew Wotte would not be kept on and must have someone lined up or a bloody good idea about who they want!! Personally i believe this is the right choice. Feel sorry for him and he must be gutted because his lunchtime interview at Staplewood showed he did not even have an inclining this was coming! How long before the new manager is announced then...the rate these new guys are going then i would not be surprised to see the new manager unveiled within the next 72 hours
