  1. The question is do I go for; Ipad / Samsung Galaxy or Netbook? Requirements - Use for writing, possible powerpoints and occasional spreadsheets. - Watching films, - Portable - Playing Football Manager - Browsing the net cheers
  2. Even if you don't think there is much point to it, surely it wouldn't require any effort just to clap for a minute?
  3. Nice to see Fonte giving a positive response about the manager when he was continually asked about his future! Just hope everyone can try and be positive on Sunday throughout the course of the game!
  4. He's an absolute maniac but at least he is relaxed in interviews and you can laugh at him rather than being incredibly stern an serious all of the time like Mancini!
  5. Two key rules for Sunday: 1. Get 100% behind the manager and the team (try and stay patient and positive) 2. Don't get outdone by Spurs with OWT. Should be a cracking atmosphere!
  6. Lallana is not part of the problem but I think that Rickie and the team would get a lot more out of Lallana if he was playing LW and being more involved in the final third, where we have struggled, and he tends to make a big difference!
  7. Punch has done okay, always annoying to see him subbed before Guly. Lallana has got plenty of assists this season and now his first goal on top of that, while playing in a deeper position than Puncheon...
  8. Although I'm not convinced that Hammond was a Prem player he certainly deserved the chance to prove himself at this level after captaining us to two successive promotions. In addition to this, I think he certainly would add some much leadership on the pitch at the moment. He would have had a winning mentality and I would imagine have been a fairly positive influence in the dressing room. I think/hope Cork can provide a bit more steal when he returns but having said that, I think Steven Davis has been one our better players this season along with Morgan.
  9. I would rather go down with Adkins than bring in Redknapp and I truly mean that! What happened to those singing one Nigel Adkins at Villa? Like the players at this league, he needs time to adapt and learn. Unfortunately the financial demands of having to stay in the Premier League just puts enormous pressure on everyone! Even if you think he deserves the sack he certainly doesn't deserve the abuse that he is getting! I stay stick with him...surely there is a bigger picture he and he fits into that well?
  10. I feel sorry for the stick Guly gets, HOWEVER, he was incredibly slow to close down the cross that led to the second goal today, and as a fresh sub really should've been a bit sharper to the ball. But he was not the only player to make a mistake. Just read above, maybe I was wrong

  13. Clyne was fantastic. Lallana not far behind. Morgan was great with passing and tackling.

  17. I had a dream that Samuel L was murdered last night....
  18. Having read many of the threads on here about buying new players to ensure survival next season, I actually think that the players that got us here deserve the chance to prove themselves, and none more so than Kelvin after his loyalty three years ago when he was taking the youth goalkeepers for training without a contract and the fact he has tow fantastic seasons in goal, and this year he was named NPC goalkeeper of the year! Discuss
  19. I really think a couple of experienced Prem players is a must to go with our yougnish squad. Not him but someone like a Danny Murphy. Been there done it with a bit of know how.
  20. He was in a box with Leon Crouch
  21. a great cover photo for facebook
  22. This is not the time to start finding scapegoats. Fonte has his weaknesses like any other player and they are being exposed. Every player is flawed and he is going trhrough a poor run of form. How about the crucial challenge to stop them scoring in the first half? How about Fox and Hammond's ability to keep giving the ball away in crucial moments. FFS get a grip and get behind him.
  23. Cech Neville - Rio - Terry - Cole CR7 - MLT - Gerrard - Robben Henry - Shearer
  24. The idiots in Block 38 today, all they did was moan at him all gamr, completely negative. The **** next to me shouted at him, when Lambert (who was below par) misplaced a pass. And cheering when he came off was pathetic. De Ridder has done a lot less this season and is not the answer to all our problems. The real wide player we should be looknig to is Puncheon.
