They could have made a 10 minute video of similar goals to the ones shown. If snodgrass v us gets in there I don't see why Lallana v Hartlepool doesn't.

Disappointed with the lack of messages from PUP Dawg that got through

Tomorrow is the day, followed by friday being appeal day.

[Comment From raging reg ] The Premiership and the FA never forgave us for reaching and winning the FA cup in 2008 - We were too much of a 'lowly' team. No money in it for them. No, I don't expect there is much money in the FA Cup for the Premier League...!
-
What does this stand for? I guess it's something to do with W******d
-
In terms of Lambert I have a feeling he's absolutely fine and Pards perhaps used this 'injury' as an excuse to try Barnard and Connolly out upfront together and give Rickie a rest. Also a bit of mind games for Plymouth ahead of Saturday.

Thinking about saturday does make me pretty weary...

Barca (CL), Chelsea, Celtic, Saints and Luton at 180-1 is surely a license to print money?!
-
Never actually cried watching a film but the closest i've come have been during United 93 and The Boy in Striped Pyjamas.

The kids won 1-0, but we should have played our strongest possible 11 to smash them for no good reason.
-
I'm fuming Pardew didn't risk anymore of the, already dented, first-team squad against a conference south team that we have been forced to play. He's mental, you're all mental!

That 'Kid at Christmas' feeling is starting to return.

They sold out at the weekend, so yes I'd imagine they had restocked. -
I would pay good money to see that!

Maybe Pardew just wanted to satisfy himself that he really is not up to standard before releasing him.

Why were so many of our "best first XI" in the league missing ?

Newcastle played leyton orient at the same stage last season and lost 6-1. They drew 1 and won 5 of their opening 6 games of the season. -
DC and Barnard played well together, some nice passing moves. Antonio looked sharp when he came on, going past several players. Obviously he scored, but the Reading players were queueing up to put it in. Recent performances may prevent us from getting him.

Didn't see him myself (no Markus either) Yes Not personally

Wore the away strip, the sash is being saved until next saturday

Difficult to tell really, scatterings around the ground including probably about 500 Reading fans. My guess is about 7K.

There's the answer to your question in black and white, Alpine: "Morgan has had a kick, Lallana has a troublesome knee which we can't quite clear up, but which we hope will be ok and Lambert has just done his groin slightly." Guess another pointless thread can be locked. -

Oh and Apline - Let us know when you make it to a game, then you won't have to rely on the score to judge the performance. -

Oh right, I clearly mistook this thread for being about results. The attendances were poor, Pardew out. -

Pardew thought it would be a laugh to leave the team unprepared with only a week to go. Lallana and Puncheon have knocks, Morgan was probably given more time to rest having played over the summer and Rickie was surplus to requirements today. Pards probably wants to weigh up our attacking options safe in the knowledge Lambert will bang in 20+ this season. -
Just back from the game: Only the first 65 minutes really counted as we had 7 youth teamers on by the end. Our starting 11 dominated Reading for long periods and there was great link-up play between Barnard and Connolly. Dickson and Barnard had great games. Pulis was dreadful. Wotton put in a 'tackle' that will live long in the memory (would be a straight red in a normal game) Antonio was very sharp and had great support from the saints fans. I'm looking forward to the season safe in the knowledge we played well without Lallana, Puncheon, Morgan and Richard someone...

MK away in the JPT? With that minor pitch invasion at the end.
