We've some talented players which are being wasted IMHO. I've been to numerous games this season and it's dire. We're currently in the PO positions inspite of and not because of RM. Two moments of 'magic' last night, the rest of it was awful. Look at where Stoke are in the league, I think may be us in a couple of seasons - bereft of any decent players and just a mid table Championship side. It's this season or not at all and I am not sure that RM is the man to take us back to the promiosed land.

Saints with RM is like trying to take a 28 handicap golfer, dismantle and change their swing and turn them into a single figure player. It can be done but will take lots of practice, money and good coaching. Above all though it may take time and everyone needs to buy into it. In the meantime it’ll be painful with backward steps along the way and if you decide to jack it in then there’s every chance you will just remain as mediocre. Of course the coach could be changed and might make a difference but there’s no guarantees. FWIW I’m in the camp of seeing if it can be turned round - for now.

We’ve not won by more than one goal or kept a clean sheet for more than 18 months - is that really true? If it is then we’re not breaking that habit tomorrow.
