Moyes anyone?
-
We’ve a talented squad and there are some decent managers available. Take the difficult decision and let’s see if we can make a proper go of it before it’s too late.
-
Uhm.....I see what you're saying and yes you're absolutely right and I doubt it will affect us in the long term. Whether the club take a more long term, almost pastroral view, based on his interests will be interesting but BIM TB may be one of the few players between RM and the sack I probably doubt it
-
Absolutely, however their respective injury records throughout their careers weren’t/aren’t great. I wonder if that’s linked?
-
Id be staggered if they dont monitor sites such as this BIM as football fans we're their target audience.
-
All the top sides go long at times when it’s necessary and that’s what we simply don’t seem willing to do. Maybe that, along with a personnel change, will change after the international break.
-
Just looking at his injury history I honestly don’t see him coming back and playing at this level again. An expensive mistake? Yes’s but it’s sweetened by the fact we off loaded Lavia when we did and for what we got for him.
-
We had the World Cup break when mad Nath joined us………that went well!!
-
An 18 year old fit, young and athletic lad fatigued? Sorry Russ but I’m not having that
-
I think his next league team selection will tell us a couple of things. Firstly whether we have a chance of staying up and secondly whether he is likely to be still in charge come Christmas.
-
With the window closing the owners have given us more than a chance of survival.……….unfortunately RM has other ideas and we’ll return to where we came from if he persists with these tactics
-
Honestly………for those that thought Pedro was Saints bound please give your head a wobble otherwise you’re going to have a very disappointing day!!

Aaron Ramsdale - Official: Loaned to Newcastle

Maybe if we’d signed a GK of similar stature 2 seasons ago we wouldn’t have had that flirt with the Championship! -
Anyone else having Sky freezing?
-
A Brazilian non-goal getter that’s coming from the warmth of South America to the hotbed of the Premier League as we go into the winter……..what could possibly go wrong??
-
I think that’s an interesting and valid question that should be qualified by the fact we’re only two games in. We know RM won’t change his ethos in how we play which I think will really cost us. Hypothetical I know, but if we were winless after ten games how would everyone be feeling then? I actually think giving him a contract extension was a tad premature. Hopefully I’m proved wrong but history probably suggests not.
-
He certainly put his foot through it enough times at Wembley!!
-
Give or take, relegation will cost around £100M in revenue. I’d suggest that we could get a game changing GK for a fraction of that and still be within FFP. Someone at the club needs to do the maths coz currently AMC will put us in the £100M bracket unfortunately.

Good post. on a larger scale I appreciate but NF did similar when they came up a few seasons back
-
This should be sent to the club……nearly a quarter of a billion pounds literally wasted and that’s not to mention the salaries. It’s staggering and TBH we’re bloody lucky to be back in the PL with the way we’ve conducted ourselves. I just pray we’ve learned some lessons but I’m not convinced.
-
Some mentioned Oscar Bobb on here - an excellent player. I see he’s now out long term so I’m expecting a bid soon!!
-
Lamina, Carillo, Orsic, Kamaldeen, Tall Paul, ABK to name but a few but so much money wasted very recently. No wonder we cant compete!
-
A heart problem that has manifested itself since he signed for us or was it there previously and we didn’t pick it up?
-
Tell him he can smoke in the changing rooms and I think he’ll come!!
-
Chelsea have just slashed another £50M + on Neto and are about to go again on Omorodion. I think there may be some decent opportunities for us there especially in the loan market. It also makes a complete mockery of FFP and illustrates why football is so broken.
