TBF I just want to enjoy watching us play - whatever league we’re in. For the likes of us, Leicester, Ipswich or whoever, we’ll never be competitive in the PL. I felt better about Saturdays last season playing in a so called inferior league than I do this season in what is supposedly the promised land of the Prem. I don’t buy into the idea either that we’ll just lose our best players because even if we stayed up we’d be asset stripped by the bigger clubs of any decent players - it’s happened for decades. Add in VAR and FFP and nothing that I’m watching this year is enjoyable. I decided to save my time and money today because it would have been a 400 mile round trip probably costing £150 or more.
