Funny how interpretations can be different. Two things I take from clicking on the link and reading it…….firstly their ST’s are frozen whereas ours were discounted. Secondly whilst some of the sound bites may be encouraging he alludes to next season being hard whereas I believe the general theme from the Fans Forum until now is that SR will back us financially to give us the best shot to get back to the PL. I am no fan of SR but I’m trying to be objective and I think we should maybe hold judgement until we see how things pan out. Obviously that won’t happen and wouldn’t be any fun!!

Pickford has shown what a good keeper brings you. Forest invested in Navas in January and look what he’s done for them. I honestly think if we’d got this one position correct we wouldn’t be going down.

Think we need to be a bit sharper than that. Our season starts again in 10 weeks. We want/need our business done early as I’m assuming pre-season training will start in 4 or 5 weeks time. We have to hit the ground running.

Next season will already be better than this if we win more than 6, yes 6, games. Think by the end of September we may possibly be doing better than this complete season. Of course it may go totally wrong but personally I don’t care who we beat as long as we start bloody winning some games.

Think Selles has saved up all his ‘traps’ for the last game of the season! Nice tactics!

Selles has gone the same way as Frank Lampard in so much as no club in their right mind will employ him as their manager. It’s been career suicide for him and catastrophic for us.

Piroe doesn’t need to step up to the Prem. If that’s our thinking we’re a bit ahead of ourselves. If he comes, gets us goals, we return to the Prem where he goes all AA on us then I’ll accept that!!

Personally I think he’s been poor but that doesn’t necessarily all come down to him. I’d like him to stay not least because he wants to as well - how many rats will be jumping this sinking ship just because they can?

I agreed to a degree. However be professional, turn up on time, train hard, look to continually learn and work your socks off during a match. Sadly this minimum requirement has been absent in pretty much our whole squad.

I watch Crewe regularly as it’s on my doorstep. They have spent next to no money for years so if that stat is correct from only a couple of years ago then it’s a poor indictment of where MKD were that season.

Feel sorry for him. He’s been a victim of the awful tactics and coaching. Like a good soldier he’s followed orders, gone over the top and has been left taking the flak. Good leadership would have avoided this but likewise maybe if JWP has more backbone he may have ignored those orders and tried to change things during the games.

I’d have sacked him before the start given that team selection and at the latest half time. Absolute joke of a manager…..in fact Selles and manager shouldn’t be used in the same sentence.

Just watching Luton. Big, strong, like to get the ball out wide and are quick. I think this is what we’d have ultimately been in for with Mad Nate. Personally I think they’re a better watch than we’ve been for quite a while. Obviously we’ll never know but maybe if he’d not been a media nightmare and had been schooled in communication he could have worked.

Maybe I’m way off the mark with this. I think sentiment needs to be taken out of all these who stays and who goes guesses. The bottom line is that if the club believe it’s for the best for them (the club not the player) and it makes financial sense, then they’ll go. We may wish to keep Elly, Walcott, Diallo, AA and AMN etc but if the big boys come in then they’ll go 😉

He was instrumental in our win at Everton. Got the flick on for the first and won the free kick for the second. Take that together with the Bompey game and he had a big part to play in a third of our wins (don’t you love how stats can be manipulated!?)
