  1. I get the impression too that if we’d have been successful he wouldn’t just have his head turned by another club and may well have shown a bit of loyalty.
  2. Interesting, I also think he looks overweight. However I look at some referees and think the same. With the referees though they simply aren’t. They have levels they have to achieve and if they don’t hit them then they don’t referee, it’s as simple as that. So say what you want about them but fitness isn’t an issue. With our players however I think it’s different. I don’t think the levels are there or the expectations. Some, like Manning I suspect are getting away with not being as professional as they should. It’s an awful indictment on where the club currently is.
  3. Whether it’s this thread or on another, TE is just a bull shitter, a SR puppet who’s having his strings pulled
  4. This is where I wonder about the players. This sounds completely implausible but do you think there’s an element of managers saying ‘we’re doing this, these are our expectations and these are the levels you need to get to’ but the players, because they like Easy Street, simply say ‘no we’re not’ and they’re allowed to get away with it. Watching other games with the pace and power I just think we’re a million miles away and without a major uplift in fitness and attitude we’ll never get to it.
  5. Not great reading https://www.footballinsider247.com/worst-player-i-have-ever-seen-everton-fans-rip-into-competition-winner-after-what-he-did-vs-sunderland/
  6. Yes……….unlike the fans, many of whom will be sacrificing their time and money again tomorrow - especially when the game maybe in doubt.
  7. Lovely story. RIP Martin
  8. Alfie……..ask this question, which we all want to know…… ‘Are you wedded to a system which the owners want you to play?’ ……..it’s that simple…..have some guts and be a fucking proper journalist
  9. Absolutely Gloucester. Whilst I applaud those fans and no doubt they’ll be at Donny and up at the crack of dawn for Pompey it’s that blind loyalty that the club depends on.
  10. I wonder if Chelsea win tonight that they’ll appoint Calum McFarlane?
  11. I watched the Everton game earlier. TD was very poor and got pulled at half time. With players away at AFCon this was his chance
  12. What’s he said in the presser?

    PROTEST

Stop putting money into the club. It’s the only thing they understand. If you feel obligated to go this season due to having purchased a ST then so be it. But don’t buy merchandise, food or drink etc. This lot care only about money
  14. But fans keep backing them and paying out good money. I won’t anymore. If the team are putting in a shift and really trying but we lose then fair enough but they aren’t. I honestly believe the players don’t give a monkeys whether we go up, stay or get relegated. There’s simply no professionalism
  15. Garner has to come in and literally trash what is happening……..so clearly that’s not going to happen. He won’t change anything
  16. I’d like to see Neil Warnock in charge. Obviously never happen but he’d bin the oh so precious players and not take any SR shit
  17. No point………he’ll just come back
  18. Stop buying tickets, stop buying merchandise and don’t renew ST’s…….we may even have to go the same way as Sheff Weds but it may be the only way to get SR out
  19. Those poor travelling fans. Glad I didn’t bother
  20. If we beat Doncaster then this was a good result
  21. Currently sitting 13th in the league. Think we’ll stay up this season
  22. In the nancy world we live in it’s usually the surrounding parts of the stadium that cause a postponement in case supporters might slip on a bit of ice. Hopefully it will go ahead because it’s a long way to go for it to be cancelled. 🎩 off to the travelling fans
  23. Good to see my local boys give your local boys one hell of a humping!!
  24. TBF great to see a team in red and white fight, scrap, run and give everything for the cause. Supporters must be very proud of them. We could learn so much from Sunderland
  25. I made the decision that over Christmas I wasn’t investing 1000 miles, around £400 and three days away following this rubbish and it looks like I made the right decision. I don’t mind losing when we’ve given it a go but my god we don’t get close to that now. I’m sure I won’t be the only one who feels like this.
