Essruu, didn't realise you could get apps from torrents then install via itunes, ive always used installous, this is good news. What else do I need to get that to work? Any additional mods to iphone or itunes?

Jeff, re read my post mate, you wont find the drivers for the monitor to run the sound because there isnt one. You need drivers for the soundcard on the PC which is no longer working.

Monitors with speakers dont need drivers. It should come with a green ended 3.5mm jack cable, you plug one end to the monitor and one end to the soundcard speaker out. VGA and/or DVI does not carry an audio signal. Make sure your sound card drivers are up to date, then just plug the cable from monitor to soundcard and all should be happy
