ART said it, what did you expect...? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

We need to give the manager full backing at the end of the season, let him build his own team put them through pre- season and then see how we get on next season. Now is not the time for knee jerk panic because a mid table team finish mid table. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

It won't take long, probably before full time, but I really love the match thread these days, optimistic central...! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

God you talk some utter bollux.

Patently it is, because we are currently 10th in the highest league in the country. There are an awful lot of clubs below us, or hadn't you noticed?

The only person on the beach is the 'reporter' that wrote that.

Hats off, well played to the Skates, if they take this form into next season whose to say they won't get back to back promotions. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Damn, I wish I had followed your lead, unfortunately I twas the whole lot. Just to update you, it would appear that all of the season ticket holders on here won't be renewing. Nor will any others who sit within two hundred metres of them. SMS will be virtually empty next season. Oh apparently a good few players have dissented and said they have no faith in the manager. Nothing on the press yet, but set to be all over social media soon, allegedly. Apart from that, everything is fine. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Given that the first 6 places in the Premier league are pretty much accounted for each season then I don't see that we are doing that badly. Take your point about some (not all) of the football - not to everyone's taste. Yes we have lost points and failed to score goals, but I wonder whether those stats would have been quite the same had we not lost VvD and had we had a striker for more than half a season. At the end of the day - we have had an average season where we have managed to get to a cup final. Currently we are in the top half, of a very tight, middle premier league - if you are going to start sacking people for that, then fine. But don't expect too much more in terms of results. From my own personal point of view, I think that people are looking at our time in the top flight over a very short period of time (last couple of years) and as a result have some quite unrealistic ideas about what we should be achieving. 8, 7, 6 in the last 3 years - only another 5 years until we win the league - it was never ever going to happen.

OK, so the plan is to offload this joker and get somebody new in (Gary Monk.... really). I take it that when the new guy drops out of the top ten then all the same faces will be wanting yet another man to come in and take over? One for Duncan perhaps, but how many managers exactly have we sacked whilst sitting in the top half of the league, and having got to a major cup final. If we go down this path, how many managers do you think we will see come and go? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

The club might well enter into dialogue with you over taking a flag to Wembley, I would expect nothing less. Believe me, they won't entertain the clarification that you're seeking in order to secure a single season ticket sale. Again, your first post was preposterous. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I enjoyed watching the meltdown on here today, it was really quite comical, but you're right, the place is a bit of a joke now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Stupid original post. Do you really believe for one moment that somebody in the club is going to assure you that the current manager will not be in post at the start of next season, and therefore Simo can renew his season ticket..! Have a word with yourself. As one of the so called happy clappers on here, and one who wants Puel for at least another season I can tell you that I'm pretty ****ed off at today's performance as well. But at the end of the day, that's football, you have to take the rough with the smooth. Bad day today, move on to the next one. I get the fact that you are a paying customer, I get it. But likewise you have to understand that it can all be good, somewhere in between, or as Sunderland found out today, all bad - that is the nature of sport. Getting all precious and sending stupid emails is pointless. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

'Her indoors' has just refused me access to the credit card, so I can assure you Micky will not be bidding for this one....!

This does indeed seem to be the pertinent question. But when you consider the amount of games he's had to contend with, coupled with the amount of holes that he's had to plug, I'd say he's done a pretty good job. Maybe nothing spectacular but certainly enough to warrant another season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Totally agree with the OP and thought it was abundantly evident last night. I wouldn't say all of our players are lightweight but certainly Boufal, Davis and JWP got out-muscled a few times, thus losing the ball. Have to say, I thought Tadic showed good body strength on occasions though and shielded it well. As for leaders - that's VVD and Fonte. So yeah we have lost that element this season. But leaders are bred through confidence on the pitch - normally first picks on the team sheet, so hopefully going into next season we have VVD back (PLEASE) and Romeu will step up to the plate as well. To be fair - given what we have had to deal with this season - we have actually coped quite well. But yeah - a little more time in the weights room please gents, and a little more vocal on the pitch.
