  1. Do the Euros not count as Big Match Experience - got a few that went through that and did quite well really...
  2. WTF is twitter?
  3. Where does it say that...???

    Dishwasher

I've always thought that a dishwasher in the lounge was never, ever really a good idea.
  5. Absolutely - and from the usual suspects. We've done very little differently today from what we've done previously, if truth be known. Yes, our finishing hasn't been too good - but overall play wise, nothing changed radically today. We deserved more at Burnley but didn't get the rub of the green - hey ho, it happens. We have some high class trolls on here - but at least this week no one wants to sack Claude Puel or Les Reid, and it appears that JWP is not really all that bad. Glass half full man myself, it's a win, 3 points, clean sheet, confidence booster going into the Liverpool game - what's not to like?
  6. Doooooh. Damn autocorrect...! Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  7. Dead right, they'll all be telling us we are still sleep walking our way to relegation. Tit. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  8. All good things come to an end. Jose Fonte was a good thing. I return his thanks and wish him all the very best.
  9. I do fu kin wish you would fall down the steps sometimes.
  10. If you really want to know - I wrote it because the very idea sickens me somewhat. Why anyone would want to boo one of the clubs most loyal servants in recent years is, frankly beyond me. Unfortunately though - I'm not powerful enough (as you put it) to stop the muppets.
  11. Really..... Just close the thread Mods please.
  12. Feel a little sad for him really, for 99 percent of his time here he has been class, if not on the field - always in attitude. I think he has backed himself into a corner and has now ended up taking a bit of a sideways step. Still if he's gone for the bucks I wish him well, we had his best years and while he was good for us, the club were good for him. Good luck Jose.
  13. Sorry but that is absolute gold. You are quite slow aren't you?
  14. Winning ugly - sign of a very, very good team.
  15. From the BBC sport website: A commendable 13,517 have turned out at the 32,500-capacity St Mary's to watch this dross. Tickets only cost £12 for adults and a fiver for Under-16s, mind. Less than a family night out at your local spicy Portuguese chicken joint. I'd still be demanding a refund. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  16. This, this and thrice this. Not followed for quite so long, but well into 40 years, and as you have said - it's all about perspective. As for this place, well I renewed my subscription last year - but rarely post very much. However, I do spend quite a lot of time lurking just for the laughs really. The match threads are very funny, it generally only takes the first couple of minutes before the usual negativity descends, "he's sh yte, he's crap, he should be sacked" - it really is very funny. I cannot believe how quickly or easily some of our fans actually give up on the team - it's frightening. Because of the run that we are currently on - the post match meltdown threads I also find bloody hilarious - really I wouldn't let some of our on-line fans cross the road without assistance Can you imagine actually going to a game with Batman, Glasgow, Dalek or Alpine - they'd probably start whinging before kick off. I'm sorry but they just come across as people who are totally ignorant of lifes small challenges. I reckon if Alpine burned his Sunday morning toast it would constitute a crisis and he would call the fire brigade for help. All of that said - there are still some good contributors here, who tend to stick to the facts and post reasoned opinion; always look out for the likes of Chez, Doddisalegend, Wes Tender and a few others, who give good match opinion / previews without getting drawn into the negative rhetoric of others. So in essence, it's not all bad, but I fear the negativity far outweighs the rich pickings.
  17. Because they are both opinion, not fact. In the eye of the beholder each will see their opinion as the correct opinion, not fact, but opinion. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  18. You really are the angel of the forum aren't you..? Always the victim, never the culprit. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  19. My name's Micky, I'm a troll. Jesus, this place really is poison these days. Is there the same short sighted bigotry going over at Paps place as well..? Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  20. Everyone of his posts, on both this and the match thread, reminds me of a hysterical nine year girl running around the school playground crying because somebody has pulled her hair. We are not in great shape right now, but really, the usual suspects really do need to get a grip. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  21. Just bears out what most people on here are saying though - we can keep the ball, we can create - but we can not finish. [saints Shopping List - 1 x Striker] (who knows where the back of the net is.)
  22. It's games such as that where you can easily see why some people can make the correlation between referees and brown paper envelopes. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  23. What if......? Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  24. There's going to be too many "what if's" at the end of this game. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
