  1. Surely that's progress against the war on guns, no...???? If you have a gun now - we are going to come at you with something bigger. Never mind gun control, bollux to it. Check it out - how to fight guns....., easy, bigger guns...!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36778374
  2. Excellent, sounds like a roll that he is particularly suited to, good news Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  3. Having been there, seen it, done it, and won it, we of all clubs should respect the fact that this competition is designed for lower league clubs to have their day in the sun. Awful idea - it ain't broke, don't try and fix it. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Yeah, about 4 years ago. He turns up but plays like he's resigned to losing. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

I would just colour it in with crayons, that's what Roy would do. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

I would actually like to see Poch get the gig. I really think he would do a good job for us. It would pisz spurs off as well. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Taking the positives out of it, if Iceland can do that to us, just think what France would've done. We got off relatively lightly at two one to be honest. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Could be a blessing in disguise, France will severely embarrass us if we manage to fluke our way through this. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  15. Exactly this. And I don't know why it's so difficult for people to get their head around this. Players are driven playing at the highest possible level and by money, as are agents, Mane will go, the clubs job is to get the best price they can in order to re-invest.
  16. Whoever gets the nod I can't wait to see who in the club comes out with the fabled one liner "we got our first choice candidate". Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  17. So - what is the difference between a business and a football club? At the end of the day, in order to survive both have to either break even or make a profit - it really is that simple. You seem to be under the illusion that her father would have thrown money at the club hand over fist, I doubt it - money does not guarantee success. If you really cannot see the investment and improvement both in terms of infrastructure and performance since the takeover by Markus and Kat then you would appear to be somewhat short sighted. We are a well run, stable club - I would much rather we run within our means (I have no problems with owners making a profit either) - than throw money around and end up back in administration.
  18. That is very funny. I see you are back to your brilliant best.
  19. The link to Nigel reciting it by the OP led me to watch the 5 Years On video as well, great video - shows how far we've come and great to hear the enthusiasm in Nigel's voice as he remembers the good times. The poem is used as the music to the end of that video as well. Great times - will always be a NA fan.

When we get to the 18 yard line we look totally devoid of idea's. For all of our possession we have rarely actually troubled the keeper. Better sides will batter us. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  21. I take it the source is actually the Telegraph taxi driver that has just dropped him off at the De Vere...!!! Seriously though, my only worry with him would be that he might look at it as a step down after City, be less motivated and put his feet up a little bit. Don't know - I may be reading it wrong.
  22. Personally I think he was very good for us. Maybe not a great, but certainly a very good player. I think that those that cite his disciplinary record probably need to weigh that in relation to his job on the field. Vic was there to protect the back four, make tackles and break up the play. By the very nature of his job, he was highly likely to get cards, because he was the one harrying and tackling - which he was very, very good at. Ok, not the greatest passer, but really not the worst either. To put it into perspective, look at probably one of the best English midfielders in the last 20 years, Paul Scholes, great passer of the ball, very good striker of the ball, but couldn't tackle for toffee. Different players have different jobs. Thank him for all he did for us, wish him well (apart from when we meet again), and move on.
  23. Good point. If it does a 'Blue screen of death' in the technical area, somebody is going to need to reboot - could get messy...!
  24. Been on the waccybaccy Alps? This sort of news normally sends you into a flat spin and meltdown!!! ? Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
  25. An excellent idea for a new thread - I wish I'd thought of it.
