At the end of day, the bottom line is, it really doesnt matter what any other team does. Lets face it Brighton blew it inside the first 10 minutes - WHU are likely to rack up a cricket score, and their confidence will be sky high. None of it matters so long as we win all of our games. Now is the business end of the season, it's in our hands - only we can blow it.

So is this thread closed now....

WHU level with us by next weekend. :-(

It would be absolutely criminal if we didnt get promoted now. We have (will have) done it the hard way - we have been up there all season to be shot at and lead from the front. As a result, everybody has raised their game against us. We have been the yard stick by which this league has been measured. Not to win the league is bad enough after all of our efforts, but to not get autopromo would be a real kick in the teeth for the lads. We deserve. -

If we don't get three points from posh - this could very well happen. And, if we ended up in the play offs I dont think we would stand a scoobies. -
Need a big big performance. Anything other than 3 points and I can see West Ham capitilising, I know they havn't put 4 wins togeather all season - but you just know that they could. Win this one - we are there.

Well said that man. Totally agree. Perspective.

I think that you might find that some people have motives other than entering into the debate when posting.

Wide, perhaps.

All that shows is how ineffective we were unfortunately. Need a real big performance at Posh on Tuesday, win and we will be fine - anything other and we could be heading for trouble. Shame about tonight - lots of pretty stuff, but no real killer punch.
-
Yep, that could happen, but so could.....

Ummm think they did Reading. Smashing them may not be too easy - they will fancy their chances after tonight. Edit: Actually, reading all of your post, how the hell were Reading lucky, we were not mugged - we were well beaten by a very organised team.

Agree 100% with this. For all our possession, most of it was in front of their back four, our finishing was poor apart from a few odd attempts. We were neither robbed or cheated - there were no pens in there at all. Yeah we played some nice football at times - but was it effective - nope. They had three chances, gave the ball some violence and scored every time. There was nothing lucky about their win tonight. Don't know where this leaves us in terms of confidence - but it ain't been a good night.

I think we've been excellent, we just need to keep our heads and sort our finishing out. Don't fancy our chances if reading get another though. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

Quite damning really. Personally I think there are many, many more people than those just associated with PCF who are simply sticking two fingers up at everybody who questions this whole sorry mess. From what I gather today - we have a business that has seen fit to twice enter administration, run up debts of nearly 200 million pounds - but are happy (as appears are the administrators) to simply 'right off' the debt and carry on as normal. And I was worried about my poxy mortgage.

Can I ask what he will do if we score?

Your absolutely right - I did. (Because that is all that I had to go on, and that is how you came across in your opening post). Having read this post I accept, that for some unknown reason, you appear to simply have an irrational distain for some skates, of which Steve Claridge is included. I also accept that you are older than 13 and perhaps should apologise for my patronising - but as I said - that's how the post came across. Read post 57. Read post 60.
