  1. The fact that he has 32 England caps is old money, new money is that he is about as cost effective as Keiron Dyer - that'll be a no from me then.
  2. Luvit...!! Both teams played on the same pitch - one coped, the other didn't. No matter the state of the pitch, if the ref deems it playable, you have to adapt your tactics and approach to suit the conditions. They did, we didn't - we got stuffed.
  3. 'Exhibit A' doesn't exactly have him 'bang to rights' now does it.....????
  4. ... was pants today.

    top

Which means F all unless our points tally is the same. They get more points than us, and the deserve to go top - simple really.
  6. This is the nightmare. But last season we put a great run togeather in order to beat of Huddersfield - this season we need to show some balls and do it from the front.
  7. This. (Fairly) confident that we can go up this season - but after being in pole position most of the way - would take a bit of the gloss off of the season if we came in second. We were dog turd today and it has to be a one off - otherwise we could go into melt down.
  8. Well that's even worse news really - so they played shyte and still ran out 4 -2 winners away from home. We had better up our game from here on it then.
  9. What a strange comment. None of those things happened - that's like saying if we played well we would have won. We were dogshyte and lost, deservedly.
  10. Absolute dogshyte performance - we were so bad it was actually funny to watch. Nearly 70 percent of posession yet most of that was in and around our own 18 yard box - how many shots did we have? You have to hope that this was a 'one off', a bad day at the office, becuase if it's anything more - we could actully blow it, we were that bad - total dogshyte. Really shouldn't pick anyone player out, because nobody covered themselves in any glory - but Billy Sharpe - really? Never looked like scoring, ever. Perhaps now, we might also be able to curb some of the very premature 'going up / champions / prem league' threads that are littered all over this board. A bad day, maybe - but a huge warning. Oh and from what I saw, Reading looked on fire at UP today.
  11. This, this, this and fvkin this.....!!!! Oh btw - when we get promoted, after we've won the champions league 2 years from now do you think that NC will maintain any interest in the club - or just sell it?
  12. I'm not as confident as some others appear to be on here. I find some of the presumptious threads on this board more than a little uncomfortable (probably will do - even if we do go up, to be honest) and would prefer to wait until its a done deal before all the trumpet blowing. Things can change pretty quickly - at the moment we look odds on, but if we lose tomorrow and either Reading of West Ham win - then it's gonna be game on. Hope we keep sprinting to the finish line - but I'm not sure that we are dead certs yet.
  13. TBF Tony was up front right from th start. Posted here to update us and answer questions when he could. He takes a lot of stick from some on here, but I actually think that his intentions were good and honest, it's just that he didn't realise that his backer(s) never actually had the tools to do the job, as MLT found out as well. After it all panned out I believe he actually came back on here to wish us well, decent guy really - never had a problem with him.
  14. Personally during our dark, dark days I was somewhat disappointed that a certain Mr Mark© Jackson (aks LLS) never got the opportunity to drop his blueprint for success into the club - just think where we could be today?
  15. A few lines of personal opinion on an internet message forum can hardly be deemed representative of what the majority of fans may think, ergo I really dont see any problem with what he has said - not that I agree with it.
  16. Totally agree - there is 'fair game' banter and then, as you say, areas where you cross the line and things become offencive. No doubt though - some will think that all areas are open and everything is fair game.
  17. a. So, are they toast? b. So, did they get away with it then?

  19. You deserve your club, your club deserves you, you deserve each other.
  20. This. Don't be surprised if he comes back to haunt us, he is still class.
  21. Interesting that the longest thread on this board is a discussion based around those 'dirty cheating skate b@sturds' down the road, and here were are contemplating the same tactics. Even if we blew automatic, had no chance of a play off place - I would still want us to beat Coventry.
  22. Given all that has gone before - that is actually quite sickening.
  23. Not a lot went for us tonight - but we've had a few days recently where all the result fell nicely for us so hard to complain. Never really saw West Ham losing tonight, so not overly disappointed, need to go to Blackpool and get something though - should be an interesting weekend.
  24. And that's the problem - it's not a wind up. Since day one of this thread they have failed to grasp the concept of actually be able to pay what they owe. They continually point to other clubs that are in debt (nearly every club in the league probably), and say that they are also cheats as they owe money. What they fail to grasp is the simple fact that those clubs are 'managing and servicing' their debts whilst pfc were not able to - hence, especially in the case of HMRC and some of the more local debt - they simply seemed to ignore it. It is a very simply concept - having debt and managing it - but even after all these pages - they still do not get it.
  25. "Jocky's on the 'ockey" classic darts line.... - RIP
