Not strictly true, things havnt changed weekly. We have been top for most of the season - for us to remain in this division next year will be very difficult to take.
-
If you are serious contenders then there are no bogey sides. I tend to agree with Alps about the Bristol games - most (honest) people would have expected us to get 4 - 6 points. To get nothing, I think, will be our undoing.

It's gonna be one of those days - give me a draw and Ill snap your hand off - no way we are turning this one around...

The final whistle very rarely goes around the 16 minute mark to be fair...!!!

Got an hour to turn this one around - next goal is a biggy....

Is this normal behaviour by SFC for people buying hospitality packages?
Micky replied to AussieDog's topic in The Saints
As a frequent flyer, I find the dull monotonous prerecorded safety brief, boring in the extreme, but I also find that lots of other 'in flight' announcements as well. Has this got anything at all to do with the subject of the thread, what is the subject of the thread , god knows.... whatever...!!! -

Scary, just really really scary. What is that operation called - you know, the one where you have to have your cranium extracted from your anus. It's just the first thing that came to mind.

No, Rebekah wont have done anthing - she had no idea where her staff were getting information from, just thought that they were hard working, well informed journalists. Really cant see any story here whatsoever, normal British press and political workings as far as I can see.

He is a victim of TV Beautiful People syndrome. He doesn't appear because he is ugly and has a big nose, whereas Charlie Nickolas has a bleached designer hair do and wears a diamond earring. Matt could never compete with that - it's radio or non-camera commentary positions for Le Tiss from here on in...!

I think it's all a bit previous for this to be honest - still 10 games to go, 30 points to battle for - it could all go to plan, or it could all go horribly wrong. During our premiership years and all the relegation battles that we had, I never used to worry until the last 6 games of the season, and that's exactly how I see it in this scenario as well. That's the crunch time, that's when you have to hold your nerve, and that's possibly when this thread will be more relevant. I know the OP started it as a bit of fun - but it kind of makes us easy targets if the wheels fall off and we find ourselves here next year. Hopefully that wont happen, but I think I'll pass on this one until we get into the last 6 - and even then I'll probably be non-committed.

I was in the Armed Forces for best part of 25 years and the only association I can remember with professional football was when I served with Jeremy Goss' father for a short while, and that was a fair old few years back (mid 90's). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCLWn6hvvfE Good question though - will have to give it some thought.

Coz 'e is fat 'n lazy. Wasn't SRL a bit of a porker when we first got him...? After he went through the Saintssportssciencefitnessprogram, he came out a lean mean scoring machine - Billy will do the same.

Total waste of time I'm afraid - if you've ever been a smoker then you'll appreciiate it's highly unlikely that any sort of literature is going to change your mind. Have you seen some of the pictures on the side of fag packets these days - and yet still people buy them. Smoking is an addiction, a low level drug admittedly - but an addiction all the same, it takes a lot of will power to overcome.

This. Although I can see why people do get confused as to 'where the money is going'. Airlines are very good at hiding costs or making themselves 'non attributable' for them (some to the point of criminality as far as I am concerned (no names no pack drills - irish tw*t)) - time for total transparancy as far as I am concerned. Time to abolish all of the so called add on's, just tell me: The total cost of the flight How much is going to the government in taxes Other than that - I don't want it all dressed up as this charge, that charge or whatever - just tell me the f*ckin' truth.

Not often that I agree with both Dune and Phil on a single thread - but I really do think that the smoking ban has had a massive negative affect upon the pub trade. It would be interesting to see a poll of publicans asked whether they would like the opportunity to review the ban. Smokers were probably the majority of first customers to desert the pubs in favour of drinking at home - as somebody else above said - a pint goes with a fag and vice versa. Personally I would like to see people being given a choice - if the landlord wants to cater for smokers then fine, for non smokers - fine again, for both smokers and non smokers - great. For me - all the smoking ban appears to have done is drive smokers into little huddles in the doorways of pubs and bars, where the pavement is littered with thousands of discarded dog ends. I was staying in a hotel in Salisbury last year, during the summer months and couldn't believe the amount of dog ends all over the place. I also work extensively in Germany, staying in 3 or 4 star hotels and most of them have facilities for both smokers and non smokers. It seems to work fine over there - don't really see a reason why such facilities can't work in pubs and hotels here. I am a non smoker.

Which to be fair is far more than he deserves after an article like that ffs.

Two teams, serious question - but how old is your mate...???

I think this thread has run it's course now - it's time to forget the missing millions from FP, they are gone, never to be found, and liquidation is nigh.... forgotton. We need to turn our 'investigative genius' minds to a new challenge. Who the f*ck nicked Ho's fiver you tw*ts....????

It was a somewhat tongue in cheek / cynical view of this part of society today. I've come to accept that this sort of crime will probably never be addressed by the police - so why make it their remit. Why do insurance companies insist on a police number - whats the point. I've been to the police to report such incidents - 'thank you sir, your number is 1245 or whatever'. No interest whatsoever as to the cirmcumstances of the crime / damage / claim. So why not just take this burdon away from the police. Personally I hate this kind of criminality - but let's be honest, usually trying to get any sort of official retribution is normally a futile exercise.

It's getting to sqeaky bum time - whoever holds their nerve walks off with the biggest prize - simple. Nobody was ever just going to give it to us - time to dig in and work hard.
