Your absolutely right - I did. (Because that is all that I had to go on, and that is how you came across in your opening post). Having read this post I accept, that for some unknown reason, you appear to simply have an irrational distain for some skates, of which Steve Claridge is included. I also accept that you are older than 13 and perhaps should apologise for my patronising - but as I said - that's how the post came across. Read post 57. Read post 60.

What are we going to do for a goalie on Friday ?

Tch, ok, I'll go in, but only for the first half, and then I want to play up front second half. -
Well, that's it, I won't get any sleep tonight now.

In Brighton - ffs, are you thick.....???? -
Without being rude - I'm sort of hoping that you're not older than 13. You have some serious issues. Have a think about some of the people who have been associated with both us and the skates - do you hold them all with the same distain. Steve Claridge is (imo) one of the more knowledgable pubdits on the BBC - he knows the leagues, the players, managers and personalities that he comments on. I have both heard him on radio and seen him on tv often give us high praise - but the reality is that he just tells it like it is. As somebody above has already said - he was one of the most outspoken media person when commenting on the skates current administration. He didn't pull any punches, and gave a forthright honest opinion. I didn't see the FLS, but if he choked trying to praise our current achievements - I'll take it as a back handed compliment - thanks Steve.

Dear oh dear - that really is quite sad. Is this guy actually a real journalist?

Somebody is going to need to explain this thread to me....!
-
Not sure why this thread was started given that our good friends up at KUMB have actually started a match thread for us there: http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=139678&st=0&sk=t&sd=a I think most are rooting for a home win after their result tonight....!

Here, should you wish to listen. NA gives very high praise to the fans as well: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17581449

Will take that..... phew.....!

Hate to say it - but they could well get them....

Cant see brum holding on for another 20 minutes
-
Great result - this was a very important game in the context of the last three and the next one. Clean sheet, Ricky brace, fans great - total result. Come on Brum - do it for the Saints....!
-
It's really not the sort of question for a football forum.

Cheering from the bench will suffice.

This - we didn't defend for 4 minutes last game - no way we can hold out for 45 - lets go out to kill the game off with more goals.

I'm quite ****ed off actually - my sons at SP and I'm here behind my keyboard - lucky, lucky git........

Only if we actually thought he was man of the match - which I didn't. Nobody is slating him - just offering some sound advise really. He went down five minutes after the event - not only is it cheating, but it actually makes him look a complete clown. I was actually quite surprised that the pompey players didnt make too much of it. He is much better than that, as others have said it appears to be creeping into his game - and we would prefer not to see it. Read the thread title, it asks for a straight opinion, which is what most people are giving. Perhaps you'd be better off in the MOTM thread - if there is one.

Would prefer RVP, but I guess beggars cant be choosers - so he'll do.

Missed a 50 meter wide board from 2 yards - shocking....! Pub player - forget it, move on.
