Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .

That is a big ask, given our current form and who we have to play. I hope you are wrong. -

If you go for the NA approach and control the controllables - then we win our games and go up. Problem is - I'm not so sure that we have enough of our mojo left to do that, or if we really believe that we can. Will it be tears of sorrow or tears of joy come Coventry 28 May? -
Twos up with your blade mate.

So, which one is it then...????
-
I'm gutted, not because it was pompey, but because we didn't get the 3 points. Am I a proper Saints fan?
-
Yep and 'dins' and normal rational people, by all occounts....!
-
You need to go to that Specsavers place - either that, or you have a great up and coming career as a comedian.
-
No - the lino didnt see it in the packed penalty area - the ref was very good, did see it and consulted his linesman. Between them they then arrived at the correct decission - as the OP says, the officials were ****!!!!
-
If you ended up in the centre circle and didnt know how you got there - I suggest you lay off the wackybacky. Everybody gets emotional - but we have to keep those emotions in check, absolutely no excuse for going on the pitch - especially when the game is still in progress. My first saints game - late '68 I believe.

Nothing to get over thanks. It has nothing to do with drawing to pompey. Why am I ****ed off, simple - last week we had clear points between us, second and third. This week those points have evaporated - not only that, but they have evaporated on the back of 2 pretty poor performances. Couldn't give two hoots about pompey - dont even care if they stay up. But will be majorly ****ed of if we blow the chance of our biggest achievement since, what, 76?
-
Joke, quip, or just frustration - thus bad taste. Probably not the cleverest of comments, especially given as somebody has already pointed out - there are probably kids present as well.
-
What? Why? Why the **** would you want to go onto the pitch during a game, derby or not? Not only that, but how stupid do you feel given the final outcome?
-
Football doesn't work like that, we just managed a draw against the bottom team - at home.
-
Went round the keeper, too many touches, lost control of the ball, ran out of pitch, went to ground without being touched in hope, chance went, PFC players didn't seem to have a problem with him going over - although clearly not touched. Should of at least worked the keeper.

Palace on fightback - tough came coming up....!!
-
Ahhh right...

Not really set the world on fire for us, if Chappers could get back to his mid season form - he could be key.
-
Really.....????
-
Adkins also says that it is a 'squad game' - well more now than ever do we need to see just who is good enough to step up to the mark. Based on the last two performances, we are not that great - if the bottom team can come here and make us look bad, Reading will seriously fancy their chances.
-
Adding to the squad. We have probably one of the most expensive squads already. As jjsaint just said above - the level of funding required to get us to our current point may not be there next year. All teams, will add to their squads - but that alone is no guarantee of anything.
-
Ummm and next up are the 'fairly local' Reading..... things could get a whole lot worse.

I really dont think that we have what it takes to do the play offs. They skates are more suited to that scenario. We are a footballing team - we let our football see us through. But when it come time to play ugly and battle a bit we are not too good at it. I dont think we would stand a cat in hells chance in the PO's.
