  1. Tonights point will be a very good one if we can follow it up with a convincing win on Saturday.
  2. BFS on 5 Live - the officials got it all wrong....
  3. Not our night - commmmmoooooonnnnnnnn......!!! No pen.......
  4. Not our night - commmmmoooooonnnnnnnn......!!! No pen.......
  5. Need to keep calm second half - too many stupid bookings. No keeper on the bench. Make the advantage we have count - still in with a great shout.
  6. Not bitter at all mate. What have I got to be bitter about. I've told you hundreds of times before - you are much better than us. Your cup and league record shows it - you are a true south coast giant - your fan base shows it. I have no bitterness or resentment towards you either way - I accept - you are much much better than us. I do feel sorry for you - but bitterness and resentment - no. Have a good season, good luck with the administration again.
  7. Old news, we heard it on the night - whoooppeeee doooo, Steve (who many Saints fans still have time for and respect as a summariser) supports PFC. Absolutely gutted - I wont get over that one.
  8. I'll tell you why - because they have a vested interest to say it. They are still 'in the business' - all these media types, they make money from 'they business' and therefore they will do nothing to really rock the boat. They are also quite clever as well - you see, they know that the fans pay much of their wages. They also know that if they alienate the fans then it makes their life harder. They will blow smoke up your arse until it come out of your ears - it suits them to do so. Football may be big business - but without the fans it is nothing. Kenny Dalglish issued a statement apologising for his behaviour, as did Suarez - do you think they did that voluntarily? Or perhaps, somebody in the club (Ian Ayre) realised that the situation was getting out of hand and it was bringing an awful lot of bad press Liverpools way - and as a result they were told to apologise. I know which one I would bet on. People in football know when to humour the fans. So yeah - they'll blow smoke up your ass, but it's not what they are thinking. You are an embarrasment to the FL, but they won't tell you that to your face - they will hope that you get yet another dodgy owner who will continue to put money in their coffers and thus allowing you to play in their league. Don't kid yourself, 1200 fans in fancy dress, wombling around Blackpool on a cold Monday night probably did nothing more than fill 30 seconds of Sky and BBC coverage. So yeah - people have been fooled - but I'm not sure that it is the people that you think it is. Good luck on your next administration.
  9. So, current debts somewhere in the region of £50 million. Only two years after declaring debts of £72 million which later transpired to be nearer £120 million. And what happened to the independant auditors forensic report into their last administration? What a 'kin mess.
  10. And the other 20% are innumerate....
  11. The Portsmouth Supporters Association rep (Barry...!) sounds eerrrrrrr a bit dim.
  12. The travelling blue army showed the world.....
  13. I would imagine there was a whole queue of upstanding billionairre businessmen standing behind the russian at the time - honest....
  14. Damn that F&PP test, it's all to blame.
  15. Not where, who????
  16. Reeeet, WTF is Breville.....!!!!!!????????
  17. What, you mean they should have planned to a budget, and allowed a margin of operational loss or profit within that budget. So essentially - a budget that might change. Corp Ho will luv that one. So will Phil.
  18. When you have to explain very basic and obvious racism trends it's fairly evident that we are not as far forward as we thought. Some of the reasoning on this thread is, frankly, quite worrying.
  19. Exactly, but they have bought the one thing that they needed most right now - time. They will be hoping that by clearing some debts and staying in the Championship they will have a much better chance of finding a buyer. There wont be any toast this side of Christmas.
  20. I'm surprised you're surprised. There was no way they were going to be allowed to go to the wall. I actually feel sorry for the clubs that get relegated this season - because they are struggling within their means - PFC on the other hand, have once again had to rely on means and resources that they just cannot afford. It is highly likely that the end result of this whole sorry saga will be a ten point deduction which will not hurt them at all, they loose a couple of grand by way of final league position, and are in the Championship next season.
  21. Thank god for lighthouse. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  22. And in less than one line you probably have shown more understanding of this whole sorry saga then the whole of the blue few put togeather. They constantly blame the FA / FL for not being stronger when it come to their owners and the F&PPT - but not one of them seems to have yet grasped it. In the many instances where the club was 'available' to a new owner - how many 'takers' were there? How many people actually wanted to 'buy' or 'invest' in the club? You can see the FA / FL meeting now: Pompeys up for sale. "We have serious applications from 3 wealthy and internationally reknowned business owners and 1 seedy geezer from wherever..." "Yeah, no sweat - get rid of the 3 good guys and pass the seedy shyster...." FFS - do you really think the people running the leagues are that stupid. The fact of the matter is they have been unable to attract anybody with any credibility for years. Had the FA / FL not been so lenient with the F&PPT - where the hell would they be now? I don't want them to go bust - but they seem to think that it's everybody elses fault, and that they have been dealt a bum hand. If anything, they have been playing with an extra ace shoved up their sleeve for the last 10 years or so.
  23. Real tragedy - a very talented lady who had it all, fame, fortune - but it all just seemed to go wrong - very, very sad. RIP Whitney Houston.
  24. I don't actually understand any of the points that you are trying to make there. However, I dont agree that our coaching and infrastructure is that bad. It may not be as good as some continental sides, but I would have thought it's an awful long way from shocking.
