  1. This. Although I can see why people do get confused as to 'where the money is going'. Airlines are very good at hiding costs or making themselves 'non attributable' for them (some to the point of criminality as far as I am concerned (no names no pack drills - irish tw*t)) - time for total transparancy as far as I am concerned. Time to abolish all of the so called add on's, just tell me: The total cost of the flight How much is going to the government in taxes Other than that - I don't want it all dressed up as this charge, that charge or whatever - just tell me the f*ckin' truth.
  2. Not often that I agree with both Dune and Phil on a single thread - but I really do think that the smoking ban has had a massive negative affect upon the pub trade. It would be interesting to see a poll of publicans asked whether they would like the opportunity to review the ban. Smokers were probably the majority of first customers to desert the pubs in favour of drinking at home - as somebody else above said - a pint goes with a fag and vice versa. Personally I would like to see people being given a choice - if the landlord wants to cater for smokers then fine, for non smokers - fine again, for both smokers and non smokers - great. For me - all the smoking ban appears to have done is drive smokers into little huddles in the doorways of pubs and bars, where the pavement is littered with thousands of discarded dog ends. I was staying in a hotel in Salisbury last year, during the summer months and couldn't believe the amount of dog ends all over the place. I also work extensively in Germany, staying in 3 or 4 star hotels and most of them have facilities for both smokers and non smokers. It seems to work fine over there - don't really see a reason why such facilities can't work in pubs and hotels here. I am a non smoker.
  3. Which to be fair is far more than he deserves after an article like that ffs.

Two teams, serious question - but how old is your mate...???
  5. I think this thread has run it's course now - it's time to forget the missing millions from FP, they are gone, never to be found, and liquidation is nigh.... forgotton. We need to turn our 'investigative genius' minds to a new challenge. Who the f*ck nicked Ho's fiver you tw*ts....????
  6. It was a somewhat tongue in cheek / cynical view of this part of society today. I've come to accept that this sort of crime will probably never be addressed by the police - so why make it their remit. Why do insurance companies insist on a police number - whats the point. I've been to the police to report such incidents - 'thank you sir, your number is 1245 or whatever'. No interest whatsoever as to the cirmcumstances of the crime / damage / claim. So why not just take this burdon away from the police. Personally I hate this kind of criminality - but let's be honest, usually trying to get any sort of official retribution is normally a futile exercise.
  7. It's getting to sqeaky bum time - whoever holds their nerve walks off with the biggest prize - simple. Nobody was ever just going to give it to us - time to dig in and work hard.
  8. End of the world...?
  9. Let's be honest here, in this day and age, a couple of thugs trashing a few cars is no longer a criminal offence - it's purely a case of high jinks. You shouldn't have parked it there in the first place, it's fair game - let the insurance company sort it out. To the man in the street, there is total confusion as to what the police are actually willing to 'investigate' - it's about time somebody drew a line under the whole fiasco that is the 'law' and stated what their remit actually covers. That way we could all stop wasteing the polices time with pointless telephone calls when we have been, mugged or burgled. For the record, had you caught the thugs that were trashing your car, and given them a hiding - I wonder if the police would have been interested then? I wonder.
  10. I think that this has now become a major problem for WHU and they will probably do everything that they can to assist the blue few getting to the end of the season. It's no secret that this is a S or B season for them, and another season in the Championship could well see them slipping further into the mire. I really do think that they are very worried about the problems at nottarf krap and will do thier utmost to ensure than they do not loose 6 points.
  11. Normally I dont, but on this occasion I see nothing else for it, but:
  12. Ridiculous "compitition" that.has absolutely nothing to do with decent music. Total farce around. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  13. Just goes to show how trigger happy some of these owners can be. That said, if your financing the operation, I guess you can do what the hello you like. Interesting stuff though. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  14. No surprise really. Cardiff really do look pants. A single decent free kick, other than that they look like the away side. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  15. Madness yes, but pocket change to abramovitch. Thus the reason that top flight football is a mess. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  16. Need big cardiff improvements if they are to get anything out of this. Dire game though. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  17. Exactly what I was thinking - yet Ho still seems to think that us investigative geniuses are way wide of the mark.... Strange.

    McDonald's

Generally have one a month at Schipol Airport. Other than that never touch them - have never, ever had a KFC (the stench is just vile) and only occassionally eat BK. Anybody remember the Wimpey in Southampton high street, they used to do a decent burger.
  19. So pretty much what the investigative geniuses on here have been saying for the past 2 years then. Ho?
  20. "...only a couple of weeks to conclude a deal, nobody breaking the door down to do a deal, operating costs are the big issue..." said Trevor. So what do you say Ho...? You investigative genius, you, what do you say....?
  21. Adrian Durham and Darren Gough going to be talking to the PFC administrator on TalkSport later - they ain't fans of Poortsmouth.....
  22. If Carlsberg did manufactured bands they would have done the Monkees. Some pretty decent music all things considered. RIP Davy Jones.
  23. Strange decission really. Any new manager coming in will know that he has to get them promoted - who really wants the task from here on in, especially if the first couple of game dont go to plan. Somebody will take it obviously (big big club) but seems a bit knee jerk to me.
  24. This could turn into a monster thread.....
  25. Probably one of the most tepid pieces of reporting ever - but at the end of the day, I never expected anthing other than that. Football is indeed very, very corrupt.
