The whole website looks like it was built by a 14 year old on a day work experience. Hardly exudes the sort of web presence you would expect of a multi million pound company. Lets just hope that 'look' and 'first impressions' prove decieving.

So would I if I was playing - perhaps the half time should be extended to 30 minutes to allow all you players a quick peek at what us 'punters' were posting about you all...!! Another thought comes to me as well, Dubia Phil explained on another match thread recently, of a botch to stream radio commentary by using and 'open mic' next to a radio and broadcasting it over an IM such as Skype. Perhaps we could all listen in to the managers team talks before and at half time using a similar system. Perhap I am pushing the bounds of technology here, or just making ludicrous technical suggestions - but hey SKY had to start somewhere didn't they...!!!

Just as a matter of interest, although I am not involved in this momentus game, I was wondering if .comsaint was planning to cover the game and post match photos as he has done in the past on the match threads. I for one enjoy his 'live' match photos - would be good to have a match thread going for this one too.

That is very likely to be the case - and he shouldn't really have to go touting for buyers. We are a fairly high profile failing business at the moment and such people would surely already be well aware of our predicament - if they want to enter the bidding then I'm sure they will know who to contact.

Stand along MLT? If Mark Fry can step onto the turf at SMS and regularly control with one touch, turn on a sixpence and fire it into the top corner from 35 yards - then he gets my vote! Until then - he appears to be doing a professional job, which we should all do in our day to day jobs, and if he finds us a decent buyer then I will be happy.

Tis not the thread Sir, 'tis the title. As Stan has pointed out - you are 'guessing', 'thinking out loud' perhaps - but your title (especially as you are shouting half of it) is misleading in that it suggest you are ITK - when in fact err you are (regretfully for your readers) not!

Have to agree with most of the above. I have been in riot situations and, like the police, have also 'pushed' people. But never did I for one minute intend (or think) that the protester would fall over and die. I think the Police Officer responsible for the G20 'protesters' 'fall' wouldn't have thought any differently to I - regardless of whether the 'protester' was guilty or innocent. Heat of the moment situation that went tragically wrong.

We were supposedly meant to storm this league after slipping out of the Premiership and yeah it didn't take us long to get out - unfortunately were going via the back door. We've heard it all before - 'we'll walk this (that, whatever...) league' - but unfortunately, a bit like some of our fans today, we can talk the talk but we cannot walk the walk.

Ummm so most of the Burnley fans now think the we are a bunch of dickheads too (albeit soft dickheads) - hard to argue really....
