Forget your Sweet & Sour (although probably apt given the current predicament at Saints) I think you'll probably be inundated with more questions now. Interesting though that the Echo appear to have got that one wildly out of proportion as well. Just goes to show the quality of some of the information that we are trying to decypher at the moment. I have been very critical of MJ in the past and I stand by all that I have said, however I appreciate that his heart is in the right place and his intentions are honourable. That said - I really do not think that he is the man for us.

Bear in mind that Mr Fry is trying to do in two months, what previous execs and board members failed to do in 2 - 3 years, find a suitable buyer for the club. Let's cut him some slack eh?

A rather blinkered view - you could very well be correct in your assumptions. With a little more perspective though you might, just might, have deduced that it is not most peoples fear that we might not get taken over - rather, we are worried, by whom. BTW - If you are so sure of your stance - please feel free to enlighten us as to who will be taking us over and when - you could probably alay the fears of lots of 'silly little people'.

It is said that 'no news is good news', however in this particular case I am not so sure. Either the NDA's and confidentuality clauses are maintaining a 'water tight' seal on information reaching the public domain, or the quality of bids thus recieved is not sufficient to act upon. Given that one bid is from a well known 'businessman', I fear the latter.

Perhaps we haven't heard anything because there is nothing to hear. Perhaps (despite all the so called ITK'er posting here) there is actually nobody seriously interested in the club. The very fact that a certain name has reared it's head recently leads me to worry about the quality of buyers with serious interest in us. People often ask whether we have reached rock bottom yet - you would think that we are there now, however, after recent events I'm beginning to think that it is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. Oh well - administration is a good thing - so I have been told.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Sadly - I tend to agree with your conclusion as well, there appears to be many on here who like to 'whisper' or 'suggest' that they know what is going on - when in fact they appear to know absolutely nothing at all. For the record, is there anybody that I should trust implicitly - or is trawling through all of this guff just a meaningless waste of time?

If that were the case then I would feel quite a bit more relaxed about his 'involvement'. Problem is that during the Bournemouth debacle there were even some 'rumours' that suggested that he would be expecting a 'managerial' or 'coaching' role. Now if he's looking for the same sort of 'involvement' here then god help us. All I can say now is - I am seriously brickin' it.

To be honest, the more I read the more I feel sick. If this is indicadive of the quality of offer that that this (once) great club has attracted then I feel very very sad tonight. It's like vultures feeding on the remnants of a carcass.. shocking really...!!

Rest assured it has absolutely nothing to do with internet bullying - you're way off the mark (npi) there. Perhaps you should research some of the links posted here and form your own opinion if you choose not to believe others that have posted here. FWIW I believe that there is little doubt that MJ's heart is in the right place - but unfortunately he comes across as an over-enthusiastic, bumbling fool. You only have to research the Bournemouth calamity to see where it could lead to. Internet bullying no, just very very cautious of a complete amatuer being involved in our club.

No way - it's almost as if we are trying to find crumbs of comfort to ease the pain of what was a disasterous season. Taking the 'positives' from a game we lost - ok, but trying to hide the cracks by saying we threw the game - I think not.
