Lounge & Main Board (Pub). Rarely go to the lounge, hence most of what happens there is lost. Spends moucho moucho time in the Pub (Main Board) 'chewin' the fat', 'earwigging' and interacting with the lads - know pretty much everything that is going down. In immenent danger of losing (as Wes points out) one to the most subscribed posts in recent times, a post which will come to a natural conclusion anyway come the start of the season. A good topic - moved from the mainstream - not the best editorial decission - all IMHO of course.

What Wes said - it is Saints related as it's purpose is to show the comparison between the two clubs who find themselves at opposite ends of the FL, whilst also being in very different financial / stability positions which belie each clubs current plight.

Well I for one wish you good luck next season, when we overtake you (and we will ), I would like us both to be in the top league. That can only be good for South Coast football in general. Whilst your plight may seem critical right now, you never know how people are going to react to adversity - as I stated elsewhere on this thread - it makes some stronger. I think that you have to adopt a 'last year Hull City' approach, in that everybody is going to think that you are the whipping boys - but you go out with nothing to prove and effectively nothing to loose, and give it a right good go. Yes Hull stayed up by the skin of thier teeth last season - but right now that is probably your number one objective. (Apart of course from your deluded few who are probably still thinking that European football is a goer...!). Personally, I think you could pull it off as well. Do I want you to feel the pain and suffering that we have over the last 5 years or so - damn right I do. But I want us to inflict that suffering on you fair and square next time we both meet at your dump... sorry - I meant ground, honest..! Good Luck.

About sums it up for me too - I'm pretty indifferent about them to be honest. That said, I would like to see all South Coast clubs doing well and I really don't wish extinction on any club. Personally, I don't think they will go down this season either, adversity can sometimes make you stronger.

No room for sentiment here. Forever grateful for Killers contribution to the club - he was immense for us. But the club too reciprocated during his long fight to get fit again. To intimate that we should be offering him a coaching contract based on the fact that he did well for us during his playing days is foolish. Go down that road and we'd just as well give MLT, Franny, Doddsy, Shilts, Shearer & Razor a call and offer them all 'posts' somewhere in the club. Forever grateful for his contribution to the club - but there is a time to leave the stage.

Very, very good point - could have been collecting prem wages for not doing a lot, but chose to stay. I hope he has a blinding season, but if he has a few 'mares' hopefully the fans will also stop and think before dishing out the shyte.

Methinks this accolade is being 'earned' rather lightly these days, your post intimates that he could go from mercenary to legend in a single season whereas I would simply say that, during his time with us, he did a job. No more, no less, and certainly nowhere near legend.

I doubt he will be able to sleep at night knowing that - you've put him in a right dillema now...! FFS - Get a life and move on, he did.

Shame really - honestly thought that he would score a lot of goals in L1. I guess if the player doesn't want to be here though there is little we can do to change his mind. Hopefully AP has a 'cunning plan' - otherwise would could start to look as threadbare as our near neighbours down at Nottarf Krap - and that would never do.
