  1. To be honest, the more I read the more I feel sick. If this is indicadive of the quality of offer that that this (once) great club has attracted then I feel very very sad tonight. It's like vultures feeding on the remnants of a carcass.. shocking really...!!
  2. Rest assured it has absolutely nothing to do with internet bullying - you're way off the mark (npi) there. Perhaps you should research some of the links posted here and form your own opinion if you choose not to believe others that have posted here. FWIW I believe that there is little doubt that MJ's heart is in the right place - but unfortunately he comes across as an over-enthusiastic, bumbling fool. You only have to research the Bournemouth calamity to see where it could lead to. Internet bullying no, just very very cautious of a complete amatuer being involved in our club.
  3. Believe me, you'd be praying for a certain RL to return.
  4. Out of the frying pan and into the fire - oh dear...!!!

    press conference

751 - I'm in a bloody great field in the Czech Republic with no connection for miles...!! Aww well less strain on TSW server I guess.
  6. Thanks for that DT - a concise abridged version. Gutted to hear about the lack of big ships though...!
  7. 794 posts and 35,544 viewers, would somebody like to summarise just what we have learned on this thread to date?
  8. No way - it's almost as if we are trying to find crumbs of comfort to ease the pain of what was a disasterous season. Taking the 'positives' from a game we lost - ok, but trying to hide the cracks by saying we threw the game - I think not.
  9. God another stalking thread, you worry me. Where's MW at the moment?
  10. Interesting piece - nice to get some US publicity, but if anything I think it would probably have potential US investor running scared given the comparisons between UK/UK League systems.
  11. No way - his missus will sue for millions and then he wouldn't have enough to buy us...!!!
  12. In the words of the song 'two out of three aint bad', but one out of three is p i s s p o o r, and the overall prediction ended up being total b o l l o x. Don't know when you surface TDD - but if I were you I would keep my head low for a while...!!!
  13. Spot on. Do you know next Saturdays Lottery Numbers per chance...!!??

    Dave Jones

Could be a decent shout at our level, but like others I think that if he left Cardiff there would be other, more attractive, propositions available to him.
  15. Thanks Farmer glad to know that he is well. Last night I was watching this on the Sky Sports site: http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1126121770?bctid=21144096001 ...and couldn't quite work out why he was wearing the shirt (had some wishful moments too..!), but your excellent photo montage has solved that mystery for me as well. Thanks.
  16. You and me both mate. Reading this thread is like doing a flamin' 'whodunit' movie. It has more twists and turns than gawdknowswhat. Does anybody actually know anything about anything - or are you all just claiming to be ITK and second guessing third hand snippets...???
  17. Ummmm my thoughts exactly, and so I'm still none the wiser - would anybody like to explain, I appear to be missing something. Either that or living up to my avatar...!!!
  18. I take it you are trying to get into the record books by starting 'the shortest thread ever'....!!!
  19. If it were you and Woggy in conversation - I have no reason to doubt your record of events. I was only agreeing with AP in that various accounts of his leaving were posted here - most of them speculative at best. Whilst unwelcome, being laid off is part and parcel of most forms of employment and it is often those that are nearing retirement age that are approached first. I have no beef whatsoever with Woggy and would welcome his return. Tis the often quoted 'everybody knows' or 'it's common knowledge' post that annoy, when it is anything but the case, i.e. more speculation. For all I know, Woggy may have been happily retired with his feet up and just enjoying (if that's the right word after this season) watching Saints. But as you have first hand knowledge of his disposition I stand corrected, and as I said before, would welcome him back.
  20. Yiiikessss.... that must hurt, why didn't you go around the corner with her...!!!
  21. That maybe the case Wade, my son was recently laid off, for the second time in his short working life. It happens to lots of people and it is unfortunate, but as you can see just reading the thread - there are different interpretations as to how he was laid off. It may well have been an amicable arrangement - who knows - perhaps we should speculate a little more. Perhaps it's not the 'End of Story' eh?
  22. Can't argue with any of that. Interesting also that so many seem to know him, his whereabouts, and/or his movements, yet nobody has actually asked him how he came to leave the club and whether or not he would consider returning. A very nice guy he may be, but appears to me that most are speculating at best at the situation surrounding his circumstances.
  23. Errr right - so the good news actually is that we have managed to get into a 'league' with Chelsea, Everton and Aston Villa in it too...! Not too long ago we would have given them all a decent game.... awww well....
  24. And even a link to a page with MLT on no less - the plot thickens......
  25. That aside, the fact remains that the policy of playing youth players was not a hidden agenda - it was widely publicised, and many fans thought that it would bear fruits. Rupert Lowe is responsible for many ills of this club, but in the early days of this youth experiment many thought that it would work.
