We need paint - thats why we have so much debt at SMS - it needed bloody decorating and we had to buy the paint - true story...!!!
-
Sorry - what are you saying - you don't think that this 'dream team' will work and we should bring in more experienced people. Ummm cunning plan - but not the way we normally do business you know...!
-
Damn foiled again - and there I was thinking that the Sun journalist were far, far to professional to simply 'make things up' or print 'wild speculation', I thought they checked all of their leads and facts. Ohhh well - back to the drawing board.

That's that settled then, Shearer it is... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2468858/Toon-torment-for-Big-Al.html Surely it can't be wrong if it's in the SUN..!!!

Do NOT give up your day job....

Whats the johnstons paint trophy - do Real Madrid play in that too...????
-
Actually quite correct though. Most common dyslectic symtoms are 'letter reversal' whilst forming words - not poor grammar.
-
I think that you have forgotten were we are in the Football League. This is the problem with many Saints fans in my opinion - thinking about where we used to be and not where we actually are today. All IMHO of course.
-
What he actually meant to say was LifeLongSaint has bought us.... yikes...!!!
-
Sorry - I thought it was Rod Stewart...!!!

Nearly mate, nearly - go back to sleep - we'll wake you when it's all done and dusted...
-
Me too - but only if the video link is restored so that we can all still be thoroughly entertained when things are bleak...!
-
I think you'll find that it will do soon - that link no longer works anyway, so perhaps somebody has had it removed.

Flamin crappi, ****i, shyte, knobjocky thread title - it might be a f u c k i n ' nice cold sunny day there - but it's half past midnight here and you go and post that trype - damn..!
-
Why not - it was good enough for Matt Oakley, he put his head down, worked hard and has (thankfully) reaped the rewards. Shows what hard work can achieve if you are willing to put you 'star status' on hold.

You're obviously new here aren't you...!?

Sorry but rather an idiotic post. I know this, I know that, I know lots more than you - well good for you. People are commenting on what they do know. Everybody holds an opinion based on their knowledge of the situation - thats life. So, just what are you suggesting here - we close the board until you are ready to make us all aware of just what you know and then we can all start posting again - thanks for that, let me know when its open for 'business as usual' please. And just so that you are aware - there is no 'vendetta' against Marc Jackson - it just so happens that he is topic of the day in relation to our club. This is a club forum - hence people will discuss - once you have given them permission obviously.

Phil I appreciate that you are friends with MJ, but please do not do us the disservice of intimating that we are unwilling to air our views 1 2 1 with MJ himself. I for one would like to phone him, thank him for his efforts, lambaste him for his media skills and management acumen, and ask him then to stick masking tape over his mouth on conclusion of our call. The only reason we debate him here, is because unlike you (I suspect), we do not have his personal mobile number or IM, not because we are hiding behind internet fascades. If you'd like to furnish us with his number - I'm sure that his phone will be ringing off the hook tonight.

It didn't cost anywhere near that to produce FFS...!

I don't give two hoots what the new owners change, the name the badge, who cares, just so long as the change the forward line, midfield and most of the defence too. Then I'll be well happy...!!

This is how I see it too - I really hope that this is the case. Matt has done his bit for the club, and more. It is actually a very sad state of affairs that we have to turn to the guy who probably did more on the field to save us, and ask him to do it again off the field. But once again - it appears that Matt has come through. If he wants a place within the club, he deserves a position where he cannot be shot at, he has earned this right in my opinion. The club should recognise Matts iconic status amongst fans both young and old and do everything in their power to, yes use, but more importantly preserve. SFC do not have too many 'true' legends - and those we do have deserve protection. Matt for manager - not for me thanks - thats where the flak flys and the guy deserves none. Give him an ambassadorial role and pay him well, lets be honest - he stuck with us through thick and thin when he could have made big bucks elsewhere, it's the least he now deserves. For everything - thanks Matt.

MJ should come with a Government Health Warning. Whenever anybody sticks a microphone or camera within 10m of the guy he blows it. He should not, ever, be allowed to speak to any media outlet. Let him get on with his bit in the background facilitating his consortium - but never should he be allowed to be the mouthpiece for any group of business people. Anybody who really thinks that he might represent some sort of saftey net, should our current deal fall through, should think again. Given some of the crass statement that he made in that short interview, I really dont see that his backers, the administrators or the fans would have that much faith in his ability to deliver. He would (should) have known, above all others, that the Pinnacle deal could fall through - therefore he should have put himself in the best position to take up the mantle and run with it - our saviour. Instead of insisting that he and his consortium are still united, have the ambition and werewithall, and are working towards a deal, all he achieves is further self negative comments which give cause for threads such as this. Methinks the saftey net is not as secure as others - I would not like to be the crash test dummy for this one. MJ's efforts should be applauded, but to my mind he is very Jason Euell'ish - he'll work his socks off to get in position, but there is no end product - couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards.

You are absolutely correct Stanley - the truth is indeed incontrovertible. But what is the truth? The 5 thousand (spurious figure, plucked from thin air) of boycotters (was there actually a recognised boycotte) have saved the club by not attending and thereby putting us into administration. a. Were there 5000 'boycotters'? b. Was there even any recognised boycotte? b. Are we saying that those that did attend games should not be thanked - because they gave their support to the club in dire times? The truth Stanley, what is the truth - who knows. Mind you - you carry on lording it with stupid threads that are a kick in the teeth to fans that went and supported. Claim the moral high ground if it gives you a hard on - but please spare us the sermons. Are we any nearer the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth or are we merely listening to some raving lunatic that posesses more ego than brain?

Absolute comedy genius - ever thought about running for election, you'd be perfect.

Right on... or whatever hip phraseology would look cool as a response to your point well made...!
