  1. We stole an Arsenal youngster? Gee, I wonder what it's like to lose a talented youngster?
  2. Not decided yet?
  3. Boruc confirms plans to move in Jan. Shocker. https://www.clubcall.com/southampton/st-marys-exit-on-cards-for-boruc-1743781.html
  4. If you try hard enough I bet you could mathematically compute the exact weight of three divisions from their posts
  5. I think Tesco are more than within their rights here, it sounds like you were attempting to abuse the spirit of the offer if not the letter of it.
  6. African FA's are notoriously stubborn and will want to show a good face. I doubt they'll cancel it but hopefully sanity will prevail.
  7. Loving the vine in this link http://metro.co.uk/2014/10/12/england-fans-fume-at-roy-hodgson-as-calum-chambers-starts-ahead-of-nathaniel-clyne-against-estonia-4902942/
  8. Hmmm, wonder if it could have been Richards or Tubbs as they were both available.
  9. Like five times. I have vague memories of him being not very good.
  10. I can only think of a couple of potential reasons for not playing Clyne: 1: Niggling fitness issue 2: Roy caved to media pressure to select Clyne and was making a point. 3: Clyne did not impress in training. It still makes very little sense.
  11. My God England
  12. Oh, and Osvaldo is out injured. http://www.football-italia.net/57010/italy-lose-thiago-motta-osvaldo
  13. I wish the man niggling injuries and a mediocre career until his date of retirement, (nothing serious of course).
  14. Best case scenario from that statement: Adam is trying to justify the way he acted by implying that all professional footballers would have done the same thing Worst case scenario: Liverpool's famous right back issues are already being worked on in the England camp.
  15. In the summer just gone we lost 3 first team regulars (plus Boruc I suppose). You are suggesting the exact same thing will happen next summer? The only difference as far as I can see would be retaining the manager?
  16. Dig Dig I am afraid was being sarcastic.
  17. Based on our new credo of financial stability I expect the sale of one, maybe two players for top dollar and European replacements brought in. Morgan & Clyne are the best bets to leave, J-Rod if the bugger doesn't sign a new contract. I don't think we'll lose JWP Alps, he's not playing well enough to draw significant interest yet.
  18. Their mighty league cup win.
  19. “If players are doing well, playing for not so recognisable teams or high-profile teams" This gets to me, it's fairly accurate but that's not the point. You don't talk about a team you "loved" like that.
  20. Yay Redslo, our hero Counteracting the bad juju I bring to Saints.
  21. Actually it is a fair point, Everton are one of only four or five profitable clubs in the premier league. They have targeted sustainability, hence their loan policy and youth prospects not all that dissimilar to us. The reason they can hold onto their players is that they've been doing it longer, better and are hence more successful.
