Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. The pitch was invaded, the players went in and came out again. Then everyone got off the pitch, even only if it was as far as the red surface around the pitch. The tannoy bloke said, 'the players are going to do a lap of honour, if you dont keep off the pitch, they will go back in'. As they started, everyone was off, and as they made their way around the pitch, the people who the players had walked past invaded the pitch behind them and it became a farce from there. At the end everyone was on the pitch anyway!

...Hassan Kachloul getting a world record for the fastest indoor football kick! I've still got that years G.W.R book! Found a vid of it, its got adverts at the start, is 8 mins long, and has cringe worthy presenting but its worth a look, if only for his 2000 saints training kit and the identity of the other footballers attempting to kick the fastest.
