I can't see him being able to get the right back spot from Walker, so just depends if he is happy being back up or not. As his age i think he would be wanting to play first team football, hence why he went to Norwich last season.

IMO it all depends on what further signings we make. At the moment our centre midfield options are Hammond, Cork, Davis and Morgan. Therefore Hammond will still feature next season, if we sign further centre midfielders then i believe we will look to move 1 on, in which case i think Hammond would be the first of those 4 that would leave.

Least Butland didn't say no, perhaps a nervous laugh as it's possible...?

All I can assume is that it was much lower fee with lots of add on's, say international caps that took it up to £6m. I can't see saints offering a flat £6m for a keeper who has only played L2 and I can't see Birmingham turning down £6m in their situation.
