  1. I think it's just their way of trying to push up the price. We wont sell unless it's a fantastic offer. They are only setting themselves up for anger from the fans if they then sell the player for a fee fans deem not to be fantastic. I don't think they are in much of a position to hold onto them though, the premier league is a draw to anybody, as we found out to our cost too. Once teams come asking they generally get their players.
  2. Another thread taken off subject! Any chance of the Tomas Sivok thread being used to discuss Tomas Sivok? I don't know much about him, other than he played in Euro 2012 for Czech Republic.
  3. I can't see us signing any more forwards. Thats one area we have enough in Lee, Lambert, Sharp, Barnard and Jay Rod. Even if Barnard goes i don't think we need another. Hopefully Butland can get sorted now the Euro's are over, and before he goes to the Olympics, which IMO would just leave us to sort out RM, CM, RB and CB.
  4. Anyone remember how much it was last season?
  5. If we have to wait until 1st July then why we're man u able to confirm their signing? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18559694
  6. Can't be that bothered about playing if he wasn't prepared to move. Money wins over playing, shock! So not play for a year and pick up a higher wage, or take a lower wage and play regular football.... don't see why we should pay up the last year of his contract.
  7. If Jarvis wants to play in the premier league, Wolves will sell. Player power and all that. It's just a case of what an acceptable fee would be, if Jarvis said he wanted to leave the fee would drop.
  8. Send it to Jos, i bet it'll be his picture on twitter...
  9. Maybe someone wanted him on loan for the season which would require us still paying part of his wages. Saints the said no. Would seem a valid reason?
  10. I wonder what the capacity is in those pics. about 40K-45K i'd imagine?
  11. Download 10 upload 0.77
  12. Sounds like we are the issue rather than him? He could take no signing on fee or lower wage demends to help get a deal through. Shame, he won't go for much cash so would rather just see him go rather than keep someone who will become unhappy about not being ale to go ala punchen.
  13. isnt caughtoffside another one of those websites that you take anything on there with a very large pinch of salt?
  14. Ouch to our start! City, Utd and Arsenal 3 of our first 4 games!
  15. Well stoke took our rejects, so maybe we are just returning the favour.
  16. One things for sure, the price of Sky Sports package will go up to help pay for it!
  17. Years Team Apps† (Gls)† 2006- Newcastle United 0 (0) 2008 Stockport County (loan) 6 (0) 2009 Bristol Rovers (loan) 4 (0) 2009–2010 → Norwich City (loan) 38 (0) 2010–2012 → Celtic (loan) 69 (0)
  18. Birmingham are in all sorts of financial trouble, i imagine they will sell anyone clubs are interested in. They are just trying to get as much as possible up front to ease their problems.
  19. Doubt it. Will probably be something like £300K for every start for England (excl friendlies) upto 10 games IMO.
  20. Surely nobody involved in euro 2012 will be moving until their team is out of the competition now?
  21. They have John Ruddy as keeper so i wouldn't have thought they will go after him. Davis more likely IMO.
  22. Part of the loan deal is that they can't play against their parent club. Thats a Premier league rule not something agreed between clubs.
  23. I guess it depends if they want him to get Premier League experience. Would be great as our RM, but just can't see it happening.
  24. If he goes to a top six side he will be second choice for a long time, they all have their first choice keepers set. If he chose us there is a good chance he could be first choice by some point this season.
  25. How come we werent able to sell season tickets when in administration but portsmouth can?
