Well just noticed that Pardew was Charlton manager when Lita went on loan to them in 08. It's obvious we are going to be linked with players that have played for him before. He hasn't been picked up yet so why not put in the call.

off to Reading on loan for the season so i've heard. Brendon Rogers was part of his development at Chelsea so makes sense i guess. Just shows having a manager with good contacts is a big advantage.

I don't think he needs to spend a fortune on transfer fees. There are plenty of good free transfers out there, Murty, Lita, Danny Webber to name just three.
