That's as may be, but the threads you start on here are still utter drivel.

For Android and web users, Google Calendar can do this automatically. Pick your favourite team and it populates your calendar with the relevant fixtures. https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37098?hl=en

You could also argue that in order to keep our best graduates such as Shaw we need to secure higher finishing positions in the league. That being the case, buying in quality now could be seen as a stop-gap until the club is more able to sustain itself.

Wanyama really would be a coup. Considering that we have very little physicality in our squad he can add it in spades. The lad's not ridiculously built, but his strength belies that. Has a bit of an eye for goal too which, Morgan's purple patch last season aside, we have been lacking of late.

Fair dos. Even stepping towards the emotional rather than logical end of the scale I'm happy with it, but then I'm big on clean, unfussy designs in my day job so that probably transfers to my taste. Each to their own of course.

By the same logic, isn't a change in the colour of shorts from black to red relatively minor? As is the shirt going from red and white to... Oh, staying red and white, just a different configuration?

Sure. So when people say they want 'traditional' stripes, they basically mean "this kit doesn't look like the ones from when I was younger"? It does seem a little strange to be so attached to some parts of our history only to completely disregard others. I wasn't yet born in 1985, but the Draper Tools kit introduced that year was fairly similar to what we're getting and I can't imagine there was such a fuss then. We've always played around with the usage of white on our kits. Not saying that I wouldn't prefer a striped kit, although I would say I was becoming slightly bored with variations on the same theme. Change isn't always for the worse, nor does it have to be permanent.

No EXIF data present, but then if you were going to be responsible for a leak you probably would take the 5 seconds required to delete it.

That blurry photo really isn't representative. Makes it look like a training top when I know for a fact that template looks a lot smarter in person. Having slept on the matter, if it matches Dan's mock-up from post #1424 then I'm happy enough.

Will there be a campaign to bring back blue shorts?

We paid in the region of £1.9m I believe. I'd say he's still worth that; if we let him go for little more than a million it would seem to suggest the club is keen to offload him. Sharp certainly did the job that was asked of him in the Championship but sentiment aside I guess we outgrew him. Top bloke though.
-
The Sun seem to think a £1.2m deal has been agreed with Reading for Sharp. Either way I can't really see him playing any part for us next season. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4158639/Football-Confidential-Latest-news-in-brief-from-across-English-football.html#ixzz2WjznMyhg

Personally speaking I doubt I'll find the time to be honest. It's just strange that despite not wanting to get involved you feel the need to flaunt how superior that makes you. If you have so much disdain for the members of this 'mongboard', why spend so much time on it? Don't worry, that one's rhetorical.

That's Brand to a tee. RHLSTP is the best podcast out there, class.

Apparently it's fine to make (on average) 8 posts a day on a message board, but should you actually converse with any of those people in person that's weird. Interesting take. Life's not so black and white that having friends to kick a ball with and being open to any opportunity to play are mutually exclusive events.

Of course, that's the only plausible scenario. My Sunday league team has already started pre-season and I often head to The Common for a kickabout with mates, but I'd still be up for some 5-a-side to keep my fitness up. Might as well use these legs while they still work.

A lot of journalists and fans (our own and further afield) would do well to take note of exactly that.

Safe standing would be two birds with one stone.

Nope - I renewed at the TO but didn't get one of those! Surprisingly large queue when I arrived, half-expected to walk straight up and pay.

On visiting my dad today I found that there's a big bag of programmes he wants rid of. Only had a quick look, though they seemed in decent nick. I'd have to check how complete the collection is but they were mostly from the last few years - there may even have been all of the League One home and away fixtures. Also saw one from the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final in there. Any interest? My parents live in Alton (North Hants) but I can get them down to Southampton if need be.
-
Any ideas on what time the ticket office will be open today (Saturday)? Tried to search the official site but it's bloody useless in my opinion, no luck.
-
For those that have renewed online, have they started sending them out yet? I move out of my flat on 28th June but obviously only have until the 21st to get the cheaper price. If not I'll just go down to the ticket office to pay 'n pick up that way.

We won't sign Banega, or certainly not for that sort of money. These rumours are getting ridiculous.

Page 5: "If you have never lived in the UK before, you will not normally have paid NI contributions. This will usually mean that you can’t get benefits, which are based on NI contributions." Not to mention that leaflet was withdrawn in 2008. Still, keep sharing it around and you'll fool somebody eventually.

Slight aside, but it seems that QPR may have paid a loan fee equal to what we originally bought Puncheon for. Not bad going. Did we pay Notts County anything for McGoldrick? Otherwise yes, in terms of paying for a player and then selling for more, it was Davies.
