In summary of the final ten minutes of the presser (all I caught): MP is cynical about the Qatar World Cup (who isn't?); when asked outright whether his English is 'very good' he merely replied "poco a poco" (little by little); he stated he is "apolitical" and that the Italian journo this week merely pointed out MP started at Espanyol around the same time Obama was reelected.

The stats are all pulled from the same database, yes. It gets updated weekly but the Ultimate Team cards only get a refresh in January and at the end of a season. Lovren made it into the Team of the Week by the way: http://www.futhead.com/14/players/12342/dejan-lovren/

The overall rating numbers mean very little. Shaw's upgrade last season made him better than Fox in terms of defensive stats despite the card appearing worse on face value. Rodriguez's stats have barely changed from last year - the only reason he's gone from 75 to 69 is the change of position. Given where he plays for us you could argue CAM would've been more apt than LM but it's not really worth getting het up about. Ramirez has gone from 78 to 80 despite many of his stats reducing. Again it's purely down to a change of base position.

The guy buying our tickets was just charged £20 (matchday price) plus £2.50 in fees per ticket. That's a pretty hefty increase.

Yep, BBC reported at 15.01 today that Fox is still out with an ankle knock.
-
Exactly the same for me. The most I watch of it these days is the 7 or 8 minutes of race highlights the BBC put up on their website.

Bedwetters are not realists. Realism sits in the middle of the scale with two clear extremes either side. It's a rare sort that's able to react with complete pragmatism and objectivity when faced with triumph or adversity. By some people's measure they would barely class as a fan. Also a bit strange to imply that age plays a part, especially when older fans have experienced loftier heights than the new breed.

I regularly use these: AirDroid - wirelessly transfer and sync files between phone and computer. Amazon App Store - alternative to the Google version. One free app given away every day. Often worthless, sometimes a gem. Box/Dropbox - cloud storage. If you sign up to Box from a LG phone you get 50GB storage (or at least you used to). Evernote - cloud note-taking app (text, voice etc.) Can access your content anywhere you can log into your Evernote account. Google Play Music - Store up to 20,000 songs on your Google account and access your full library anywhere you have a reasonable connection. HotUKDeals - worth it if you like a bargain hunt. Think you can save common searches and possibly even set up notifications. Lookout Security and Antivirus - protection (if you need it) but has a few other handy features. Able to locate your phone (if lost or stolen) via GPS. Can also set it up so that if someone enters your PIN/unlock pattern incorrectly several times, the front camera will take a picture of their face and email it! There's also a couple of decent Wi-Fi apps. BT and Sky both do ones - I've got my Internet at home with Virgin now, but when I was with Sky it entitled me to free use of any TheCloud access point via their app. These may also be of use: Netflix - essential if you have a Netflix account. SopCast - football streaming on the go (you'll need a Wi-Fi connection). TVCatchup - live terrestrial TV.

Yes, sodding swipe/predictive text on my phone comes up with some right nonsense sometimes. Made the mistake of adding 'Guly' to its dictionary and get that every time I try to write 'fully' now.

This has been the most evident aspect of our league games so far this season. As a team we look far more static and press a lot less. Very few drawing runs and less directions to play the ball in, as the OP says. Our positioning is making us harder to break down but has the side effect of decreasing attacking options. There's also a distinct hesitancy that allows opposition players to regroup en masse; when breaking with the ball we've become predictable and unimaginative. With all of that said I do feel we're starting to gel. Further improvement will depend on whether these fallacies are the result of tactics or lack of understanding. It's just a shame that we didn't burst out of the blocks given that the fixture computer gave us a pretty kind start.

Victor's chant went 'round a couple of times in Block 42. Most still don't seem to know it though.

So it is, fair dos. Nonetheless all three are players we've been very fortunate to have at our disposal - and for a longstanding period by our post-2005 standards. Adam and Kelvin will be even be due testimonials if they're still here in 2016.
-
A few more than that - Morgan's 'only' featured in 168 matches for us. Lallana's up to 195 though so not far behind.

Norwich then Southampton. Hmm, surprisingly decent at narrowing it down for me. See, even the Americans think St. Mary's is big enough. One of the options after you complete the quiz is 'Shall we make a scarf for you' - I doubt it was their intention but it made me read it as a chant

Boruc certainly played his part in doing England a favour then. Looks like Davis had a bit of a 'mare against Ronaldo:

Is it? We don't all have to hide behind a persona.

Not had any interest whatsoever. I guess few people collect them these days

For direct contact I believe Justin Gladdis is your man - http://www.twitter.com/justingladdis.

Hmm, bit of an odd turn of phrase, that.

I'd second The Alex. Depending on which direction you're approaching the ground from (and whether you can get into it), The Rockstone has a top selection of drinks. Viking Warrior - do you mean The Guide Dog? If so I'd agree. In fact you could quite easily do all three on the way to St. Mary's if you fancy turning up merry.

I’ve been eating a lot of Toblerone. I’ve eaten four and I’ve got two white ones left. I don’t like them as much as the dark ones. I’m not very happy.

I guess it's supposed to serve Alton, given that's the next reasonably-sized place along the A31. I grew up in Alton and played at the same sort of level Boa Morte will do now. Utterly bizarre.

That's just nonsense. The proof? I've had a PS+ subscription on and off since it was first implemented. Obviously if your subscription lapses the free games will no longer be accessible (though anything you've paid money for, even if discounted via PS+, is yours to keep). However as soon as you resubscribe the old free content will be bumped to the top of your downloads list and be playable again.

The tiered system is fine. If you go to lots of away games you get first dibs. ST holders still get a priority window before general sale.
