  1. That looks awesome. I'm most definitely a sucker for an American roadtrip. Cheers for that. Just finished Season 1 of House of Cards (Netflix version) - v.good etc etc....got David Fincher stamped all over it.

  3. Seriously, you need to stop posting. Every post only serves to highlight how little you know about football.

  5. Both. He's the equivalent of the village idiot on here.
  6. Shut up, you ****.
  7. Read it properly. Clearly, given you'd already pointed it out I wasn't going to make the same mistake. Simply, stretching out either the 's' at the end of 'Shane's' or the 'sh' at the beginning of 'shlong' would accommodate the required syllable. Is it really too much to expect a modicum of intelligent improvisation? Well, yes, it obviously is - ****nut.
  8. Posh spice is a slapper She likes to wear a thong And when she's ****ging Beckham She thinks of Shane's shlong
  9. Which makes Pelle the new Beattie?
  10. Yep. Utterly predictable pant****ing from the usual on here though (Saint Charlie surprisingly excepted).
  11. Nah - you're wrong about him (although admittedly 3 million might be worth a gamble): http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jun/02/bojan-krkic-barcelona-ajax-milan-roma-whatever-happened
  12. **** me. Some people will moan about anything.
  13. Great choice.
  14. A small piece of pedantry - this run of songs doesn't exist on the original album release. If Fool's Gold must be included then it should the 12 inch version, IMO. I'll go for: Loose Fit/Dennis and Lois/Bob's Yer Uncle Little Fluffy Clouds/Earth (Gaia)/Supernova at the End of the Universe
  15. Nice. I saw them on tour with Pantera in Texas (1994) - was also most nuts. Any of the countless Carter USM gigs (1990-91) Morrissey in Mexico City (2006?) - Mexicans LOVE Morrissey White Denim in Brighton (2007) Beck at Brixton Academy (mid-1990s) Yeasayer at King Tuts in Glasgow.
  16. IIRC, it was Bony. Nice to see a 'fight back' from the Saints board as well as this board against the ****ing tiresome negativity on here. I'd be surprised if we hit the heights of 8th again this season but I'm quietly optimistic we'll do OK. Looking forward to it.
  17. Sorry, need to have at least five more: Loveless - MBV Standing on a Beach (Singles) - The Cure Illinois - Sufjan Stevens Check Your Head - Beastie Boys (can't believe I've chosen this over Ill Communication) Bummed - Happy Mondays
  18. Albums that I don't get bored of listening to: Foxbase Alpha - Saint Etienne Queen Is Dead - Smiths Sound of Silver - LCD Soundsystem Black Noise - Pantha du Prince Soft Bulletin - Flaming Lips Too many others but (seeing as somebody mentioned 30 Something and given the untimely demise of Jon Fat Beast) an honourable mention to 101 Damnations - Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine. That album was a precursor to 15 or so of the most adrenaline-fuelled chaotic gigs that I've ever had the pleasure of attending.
  19. What constitutes 'excellent'?
  20. OK - maybe not so much 'grief' as underestimated/undervalued by some. You only need to look at some of the comments on this thread to see that.
  21. I think it'd be a shame to lose Cork personally. Did a great job pretty much every game he was asked to last season. Not really sure why he gets so much grief on here - probably the case that most people know **** all about football and what makes a decent footballer. Lack of forthcoming contract could mean we are looking at bringing in another midfielder.
  22. Speedie
  23. Top players? You're deluded. I've already given you Bony. Possibly the 2 keepers - but none of the top 4 are lacking decent keepers (except maybe Arsenal).
  24. Fancy naming some of the 'top' players that these clubs have held on to? How many 'top' players have Stoke, Swansea and WHU got? I reckon from those 3 clubs possibly Bony is a 'top' player - and that's it. Newcastle had 2 who have both been sold (Cabaye, Debuchy).
  25. Yeah - good post. Football wise, Lovren is the biggest loss (obviously a **** though). MS will be a big loss too but our midfield is probably the strongest part of the team. Lambert needed replacing anyway. Lallana had one great season and is not irreplaceable (remains to be seen if Tadic is the player to do that - and Ramirez might step up). Shaw - stupid money. Chambers is also understandable despite the protestations on here. Almost impossible to keep hold of both him and Clyne - they're both good enough to play for a top 6 club so trying to keep both of them at a top 8 club was a losing battle. Clyne (at the moment) is a better player. But, we do need some quality signings very soon. I'm far from a bedwetter but we need (at least) 2 or 3 decent additions in the next couple of weeks.
