  1. Yes ginge. Me posting about 5 times over the course of a couple of hours on a thread that has gone on for 7 pages and a few weeks is 'another thread hijacked by Turkish' You utter prat.
  2. When people shout out "RUN xxxxxx YOU LAZY ***" or accuse the players of being unfit and look round and they are at least 3 stone overweight.
  3. 4-4-2. Let our defenders defend, a couple of pacey widemen to get to the byline and whip crosses into the mixer onto Lambos head. A couple of nasty bas#ards in the midfield to win the ball back! job done.
  4. We need pacey widemen FFS.
  5. Stuart downing and Matthew Etherington cdajfu.
  6. We're aiming higher, Cattermole will give us that, he's an upgrade of Chaplow.
  7. Him on the right, Antonio on the left, how much better does it get?
  8. What's your HIT, 90 mins of walk - sprint?
  9. I don't remember it like that. I remember bale being fairly anonymous apart from his goal and us being pretty limp until we scored. Maykua came on and has 25 minutes or so of being decent which he lived off for the next since months despite doing nothing else. Spurs are very good away from home so anyone expect a comfortable 3 points is in for shock.
  10. Kevin Nolan is unsettled at West Ham and might fancy a fresh challenge, he's the box to box midfielder we need. A cheeky bid for Cattermole and obviously continue our search for the pacey widemen we are crying out for. We could do worse than get Antonio back, with a bit of coaching he could be world class.
  11. How are we all getting on now chaps? Back on the weights now for a bit, heavy compound stuff 3 times a week, laid off the cardio ecently due to a succession of injuries but will be reintroducing that in a week or so. The weight stuff with a kettle bell circuit, probably go back to the ETK minimum programme for a bit to get back into it. Also want to start doing Krav Maga again, the problem is there isn't a club locally, nearest one is in Leeds. Goal for this coming year is beat my Personal bests set in 2005 for bench press, deadlift and squat and achieve 200 reps in 10 minutes on the KB snatch test. I've also signed up for Yorkshire warrior, a similar thing to Tough mudder so that will give me a goal to aim for.
  12. I have made this point on numerous occasions, its baffling. The amount of people that seem determind to eat as much as possible when they set foot inside a football stadium never ceases to amaze me. Especially as they walk past dozens of food outlets on their way to the stadium and also know that in the main, it's going to be terrible and expensive.
  13. Colin regularly brags about how much he drinks on a matchday, now he appears to be bragging about intimidating fellow supporters. It's this sort of drunken thuggery that needs to be stamped out at football. He is sick.
  14. We have a player called Armani? I bet his mum is called Chardonnay.
  15. Fancy dress in any form. People who wear saints shirts over hoodies TheGet if foooooooooorward!!!!, GET RID OF IT! GET IN THE MIXER! brigade Santa hats, tinsel wigs, reindeer hats, Elfs hats etc. Blokes over the age of 14 having players names on the backs of their shirts People having hilarious comedy names/phrases or their nicknames on the backs of their shirts As mentioned already calling Soccerball 'footy' Women trying to speak intelligently about what is going on on the pitch People who think they are comedians, like the bloke who used to sit near me who called Hooliveld 'Hoover' would shout 'come on 'oover' in his broadest 'ampshire accent and then look round to see if anyone was laughing Clapping over songs like demented seals.
  16. Nah, you're alright.
  17. So if now he just stays in the middle then he don't be dropping deep or wide to be involved in the build up which is what you just said are one of the main reasons why he should be in the team.
  18. SO on the one hand you're saying he offers so much in the build up play and that is why he should be included, yet in the next sentance saying he sholdn't do that and just stay in the middle. Yeah, makes sense.
  19. Who has been bashing Lambert and saying he is finished? What this is true mongboard form of is someone reacting hysterically when someone says something they dont agree with. I love Lambert as much as anyone but the truth of the matter is he hasnt been effective under Pochetino and the way we now play doesn't play to Lamberts strengths, when for the rest of time he has been here our team has been built around him. That along with the fact we only recently spent £15m on an Italian international striker who has been preferred to Lambert in pretty much all the tougher games when both has been fit tells you the full story. I keep hearing lots of talk about top 6 finishes and progressing and the Southampton way, yet this only seems to apply when it comes to people saying what others want to hear and not mentioning leaving out their favourite players. I'm sure if it was a thread about Rodriguez v Osvaldo many would say it's fine to drop Rodriguez for Osvaldo, despite the fact that Rodriguez has been our best striker this season.
  20. Consider yourself lucky scummers, this is what happens when you have a fan on the board.
  21. I remember posting on here the day after Lambert scored on his England debut and we were close to securing the Osvaldo signing that it was ironic that on the day we were celebrating one of our favourite players scoring for England, some fans were practically begging the man who would replace him in the squad to sign. Of course i was told I was wrong, I was trolling and looking to wind people up. Yet here we are with Rickie clearly now second choice striker and likely to be used more and more as a sub as Osvaldo comes good and fits out style of play more. There is of course room for lambert in the squad and he can still be an effective player for us, but the days of him being the main man, which he has been pretty much since his arrival, are over. He's been a great player for this club, an absolute legend, but if the club want to go where they claim then this what happens with progress.
  22. Some bloke has just ring in talk sport moaning about this and how he was star struck by the saints captain. Comedy gold!!
  23. Lots of assumptions from you as usual, it might have been difficult to conduct a campaign, but certainly not impossible or the first time. In any case I didn't say he did, i merely linked a list of activities that the ANC carried out as acts of terrorism. It's you and your band of "he's a racist" that are the dog with the bone trying your usual tactic of playing the racist card and speak in your usual sneering terms because someones dares to question the activity and actions of someone who isn't white. As i said, in his own autobiography, is he really going to reveal he was behind the bombings, should that have been the case, or should we simply take his word as gospel? Of course Mandela had the opportunity to call off the violence, regardless of if he "personally signed it off" or not, surely he would have known the devastation and division it was causing to the country he purported to love. He chose not too. Odd actions for a peace loving man don't you think?
  24. Neil Maddison. Another from that era who was good solid player and made a career in top flight. Actually it is quite incredible the number of players when you think about.
  25. Ahh of course, an autobiography. We should trust this implicitly because no one has ever written an autobiography and painted themselves in a positive light, justifying things they have done, have they.
