i think you're probably right, there is nothing wrong with shutting up shop and being difficult to beat away from home and to be fair our away form isnt' too bad under him. It's at home where we need to break teams down that we struggle. We haven't wont at home since we beat Chelsea, 4 draws at home against West ham x 2, Sunderland and Stoke and a hammering against WBA are simply not good enough.

It wasn't particularly directed at you, more of a general comment that when i suggested the player people were begging to sign would replace their hero i was told i was trolling, people were indignant that this would never happen, yet only a few weeks later a large number of people seem to be suggesting just this happens.

statisitcally two of our 25 man squad are going to be gay, so who are they?
-
So when a few weeks ago i was shouted down for mentioning the irony that on the day Lambert made his England debut and fans were on here saying how proud they were of him, yet at the same time practically begging the man who could well be his replacement to sign, i was actually right. Those that said i was talking bo*llocks and trolling were actually wrong as both the posts so far are saying Osvaldo should replace Lambert in the starting line up.

Its a good job all these groups and celebrities are there to keep telling us all these problems exist in football otherwise none of us would be aware of them.
-
Well he did that to a tee didn't he. Despite what a lot of the divs on here say, he is a very good manager with a good record. He's teams might not be attractive but they get results.

Reading (A) West Ham (H) Swansea (A) West Brom (H) Tottenham (A) Sunderland (A) Stoke (H) West Brom (A) Sunderland (H) Norwich (A) West Ham (H) Does anyone actually think a win against an awful Reading and a last minute, debatable penalty win against WBA and only 7 goals scored is an acceptable return from the list of fixtures above?
-
Wanyama will be good for games where we dont have a lot of the ball and need to win it back, but yesterday where we had lots of possesion he was awful. Poor first touch, slow and pondourous and gave the ball away cheaply so many times.
-
you can play whatever formation you want, if you dont move the ball around the pitch quick enough you are going to struggle to break anyone down.
-
And that's the problem isn't it. Teams aren't going to just let us play to our strengths, we seem to have no other option.
-
You're impressed with the attacking style of a team that's scored 5 goals in 9 games? Wow, easily impressed. And your comment about a new team is laughable. 3 signings all of which seen meant to improve the side. 3 players, it Ain't a new team.

If we are relying on beating the likes of Man city, Chelsea and Liverpool then We are going to be in big trouble.
-
So you think everything is great then and been happy with our form and the performance of the man who was hailed as the man to take us to the next level?
-
Oh when the saints go marching in is a song with christian roots. I am starting a campaign to ban this as it will offend our non Christian fans.
-
It was claimed last season before we spent £35m on 3 players to improve our side, that that current squad was good enough to finish 6th. Its fair to say some people will have been expecting a lot more than they are going to get.

A good old 4-4-2 with 2 pacy wingers to getting to by line and whip it into the mixer for the big man at the back stick, yes?
-
Laughable.
-
Maybe in 2-3 years you'll learn which one of those two mean anything in proffesional sport, surely they must learn you that in 4th grade? Laughable.
-
We had more shots at goal and didnt win, again. Your point on this is looking laughable.
-
Did we win?
-
So we should pick players based on who is nicest bloke and claps the fans? Bring back Prutton.
-
Another game which we didnt win despite having more shots at goal.........
-
Don't forget this time last year we were adapting to the premier league so the first ten games didnt count.

Aside from his purple patch when we beat Chelsea, Liverpool and Reading I have to say I'm less than impressed with MP. Take those out and its 2 wins in 17 which is awful. the same thing that was happening at the end of last season, a lack of guille and craft to break down teams that come to defend, despite having some very creative players in the side. MP is not getting the best out of the players he has available, we are boring to watch and seem totally incapable of unlocking teams which come for a point. He seems like a good guy and I hope he can sort things out but IMO we are starting to go backwards under him after a promising start.

Its pretty obvious isn't it? The word Yid when chanted by football fans in this context is nothing to do with Jews or anti semitism, its anti Tottenham. Its exactly the same as Skate, Scummer, vermin, Stripey Nigel's and budgies that other clubs use against clubs.
