  1. Paul Rideout, always thought he was decent but not popular with the fans, remember when he left the front cover of the UI or On The March fanzine has a picture of him and 'bye bye badman' as the headline.
  2. bo*llocks to that mate, i went from a Saab 93 1.9 TDI Vector to a BMW 320D and i dont care what anyone says, teh BMW is the better car by a mile. Better build quailty, better drive, more comfortbale to drive (i do about 30k a year) as econiomical and much more reliable, done 20,000 in it so far and not so much as rattle. People say its just a brand and you pay for the name, whilst that might be true it's worth every penny.

as no goals in open play testifies.

so if they're out what happens?
  5. Werent we heavily relaint on our full backs in our championship season? The amount of assists they got suggests so. Is it fair to say the man to take us to the next level is copying the tactics of the clueless bumpkin who was out of his depth?
  6. What are you on about fat boy? Calm down, you'll give yourself a heart attack.
  7. just simply not good enough, as the fact that two managers gave him one start between them. Maybe a season of regular football will help him but i cant see it. He'll be 23 in a couple of months time, not some 18 year old sent out on loan to get first team experience. Another one like Forren and Lee where it hasn't paid off.
  8. The Mark Draper Uwe Rosler window was a good one too and a fitting way window for our last season at the dell
  9. Stoke seem to excel at this every year. The highlight for me was about 50 scrawny spotty dweeds in tracksuit tops leaping around and punching the air when they signed Peter Crouch on deadline day one year.
  10. i think thats more due to how we play rather than the players, we didn't seem to have a problem scoring goals this time last season, or even in MP's early days. His teams seem to be based around hard work than creativity, which is fine away from home but not so good when teams come to SMS and sit deep. In fact, if we persist with this against the lesser teams at home it will be a complete waste of the talent we have available up front.
  11. up there with his "Lampard is sh*t" post. IMO.
  12. I loved the Saints fan in the Hummel hoodie stood behing Jim White waving the "He plays on the left, he plays on the Right Ronnie Eklund makes Baggio look sh*te" Placard. that was LOLZ
  13. Fortunately i missed it,but I hear it was embarassing beyond all belief.
  14. Yep, if we're going to persist with 4-2-3-1 then it's Osvaldo in for Lambert I'm afraid, then Ramirez to play a free role behind him. Agree Ramirez needs a run in the side as its jot doing him or us any good him just playing 20 minute cameos.

A narrow defeat away to a champions league club whilst thier new signs are either making debuts or on their third game! fascinating insight on Wenger BTW, thanks for that.
  16. In the plus side all those fans that think they won't be able to get a ticket so don't bother trying will be able to get in.
  17. So we agreed to £12 at Barnsley then. Why the hike for this one?
  18. I see they have already got CB Frys autograph, if they are after other mongboard legends then I'm happy to send them mine.
  19. Also don't forget the first ten games of last season we can write off because we were adapting the the premier league, we aren't dojng that this season, so there are 8 extra games we can expect to get points from this season.
  20. The rot started after we lost at home to Reading, that was when the relationship between Adkins and Cortese started to break down, he was a dead man walking from then on.
  21. What is your view on some fans on here describing your loyalty and love for the club as you just being an employee paid to do a job?
  22. Can you imagine the meltdown on here if he'd only thanked Spurs in that tweet.
  23. MPs record isn't much better than Adkins FACT. He was hailed as the man to take us to the next level. FACT. Within weeks of his arrival Adkins, who had previously been dubbed by some 'the new Alex Ferguson, the next great manager and a future England manager' was forgotten about and a lot claimed MP was so much better and Adkins was out of his depth and not the man to continue our unstoppable match to the champions league. Some fans patronisingly claimed they hoped he could find a job at his level, like Leeds, a nice midtable championship club and maybe get a crack at the premier league again one day, when only the previous summer people were bricking it LIVERPOOL might pinch him. So the problem with that post is???
  24. Quite right Brett* * was her your most embarassing mongboard moment?
