THis will be followed by a Movember, where blokes have the virtually impossible task of not shaving their upper lip for a month, wow, how will they manage it, great opportunity for lots of "selfies" on facebook though FFS. Its absolutely the ridiculous the things people are getting sponsored for the these days. My most hated though has to be "sponsor me to climb Killmangiro" and that type of thing. Claims they are doing it for charity, yeah right, having a holiday and trying to make themselves feel good about it. FFS

I saw every one of his championship games and what i saw was a reasonably good player against midtable championship opposition and a player who would be popular with the fans because he runs around a lot. He might be alright as a squad player in the premier league for a while but no way is he good enough for where we say we want to be.

There are two things people seem to be ignoring in their haste to be 'outraged' firstly its a Tottenham thing, not a Jewish thing, its a hatred of spurs, not of Jews. Also what Jewish players have complained about anti Semitic abuse? If Yosi Benayoun or Ben Haim had been complaining about getting abuse then it might carry some weight, but have they? Eh?? He played over 30 games a season in his first 3 full seasons and averaged a goal every three games, which was excellent considering how crap we were then. He was quality for us in his first few seasons and injuries only really took their tool in the second season at SMS.

Its all very well moaning a out it but whilst people continue to pay it prices will go up. I had an emotional threshold of £40 a game, I said once it went above that it was game over for me, although I'm breaking that as I paid £41 for Anfield, justifying it to myself in that as I moved up north I won't get to many games now. I don't intend to make a habit of it though and won't do it for home games.

If only you were young and guaranteed to improve as well there might be a place for you in our squad.
