  1. It ain't me who seems to have bitten pal.
  2. Is that the UAFs view on it or yours?
  3. S you want to see our attacking players back in their own area, tracking back, tackling and working hard, not in areas they can hurt the opposition, yes?
  4. He doesn't track back FFS.
  5. Guly had 8 goals and 9 assists (I think) by Christmas in our championship promotion season yet still was a fans whipping boy because he was a lazy Jonny foreigner who didn't suit the English game and never tracked back, some people don't want to see craft and guile, they want EFFORT, PASSION and WORK RATE!
  6. Exactly, there were numerous occasions during the season when he threaded through excellent balls but no one up front had the pace, movement or intelligence to latch onto them, 3 or 4 of those come up off and he's a creative genius with an eye for a defence splitting pass. Of course don't want that we want a creative attacking midfielder tracking back, working hard and showing passion FFS!!
  7. Amougst your gaston bashing I noticed you listed tracking back and lack of enthusiasm as the two essential ingredients he is missing. I rest my case.
  8. Its because people think 'the premier league style' is running around a lot, lots of effort and above all else, passion. They ignore the fact that there are plenty of quality players, such as the ones you mentioned, who don't fit this style already. We need hardworking players who put a shift in, not any of these foreign nancy boys that don't suit the premier league. FFS.
  9. Excellent news, it won't be the last time either. I fully expect him to get a few slashings, the sugar and boiling water treatment and a few shower beatings. All,of which will be fully deserved and go unpunished.
  10. I was always a big fan and Julian Dicks and David Burrows, I always felt they could have achieved more if they'd note been unlucky enough to play for Liverpool.
  11. That's the problems with these johnny foreigners, they don't like running around and none of them can handle a cold February night in Stoke. That lack of backbone is the reason why Spain, Brazil, Italy and Argentina have done so badly in world cups. They need to work harder and toughen up. If they had class players like Steven Davis is their side they'd do so much better.
  12. To be fair between the European giants there are 18 Domestic league titles, 7 copa Italias, 3 European cups, 3 UEFA cups, one world club cup, an FA Cup and A Johnstones paint trophy. So he'll simply be swapping guarnteed success in the England for a midtable scrap in Italy at a skint club in decline, the move would make no sense.
  13. That's what people on here said a month or so ago. A midtable club in decline with no money and we'd be much more attractive to a player because we are on the up, in the premier league and have money.
  14. No because we were told on here earlier this summer than Milan are a crap team in decline with no money and wouldn't be s attractive as us to a player, remember? If Ramirez leaves us for them its a downward step.
  15. That's ridiculous, no way would he have time to do 3 jobs.
  16. My guy claims to be mates with the son of the bloke Diego Maradona bought his house from when he joined them in 1985, so he is well connected if true. He also told me that Napoli use maximuscle lean performance protein shakes after training and that turned out to be spot on.
  17. Randomly I was chatting to a Napoli fan this morning too, he works in the cafe at my gym. He reckons that they won't get any of them and will instead try and sign Wayne Rooney and lukaku and Saints will sign Osvaldo and Diamao. Who'd have thought it!!
  18. Do you ever question the meaningfulness of your life?
  19. That's exactly what we did with Elliott ward and dan seaborne, so yes, it is what we do and no it hasn't effected us.
  20. How do you explain our end of season form which yielded just one more point than our first 6 games with easier matches and when we had the advantage of 'adapting to the premier league' whatever that excuse means.
  21. Lambert, Fonte and everyone else signed in the first season Cortese was here were signed by Pardew. The committee didnt come into effect until 2010/11 season and even then Adkins made some of his own signs, Forte, N'Gessen, Chaplow, Bignall. If its committee signings being assessed then Lambert isn't one of them.
  22. Afraid not pal, I'm in London. Although obviously I'd give anything to be in Preston or Havant instead.
  23. Is love to come along but sadly I'm down south this weekend.
  24. Even more concerning is the lack of smiling faces. Maybe Fontes article on the OS was propaganda and none of the players are happy. No smiles here, apart from Shaw who's now on £25k a week so he's got something to smile about and no smiles on the first dsy back at training. Lots of sadness and unrest in the camp by the looks of it.
  25. The video was wrong, trust me, he's 6ft 4.
