This is a quite brilliant piece of Journalism.

Which is why i said it's unrealistic to sign England players like he did. Plenty of experienced men around though that would come here.
-
We also had one in the late 80s or early 90's a white hummel one. Here it is.
-
This is brilliant. A home kit no one likes, an away kit we cant wear and a third kit no one can buy. Brillian stuff.
-
Why? All he says is that he wouldn't rule out going back there in the future.
-
Lawrie Mac mastered it. Some good young players with a handful of experiences pros to balance it out. Obviously it's unrealistic to expect us to sign England players like he did but a few season pros would be no bad thing, even if they dont play every week just having them around and their experience can only help the younger ones out.

WHo was saying about doing a QPR option? I said about getting some expeirence in to help out, rather than having an entire team learning and justify every mistake which costs us dearly with a shrug of the shoulders and an "oh well, they're learning". I was sneered at for suggesting this might be important during the transfer window, oh no, premier league experience is not important i was told.

Davis has been okay, Boruc was a panic buy when we realised we had screwed up by not signing an experienced keeper.
-
Saying they will stay up in 2013 because they won the European cup in 1981 is as ridiculous as saying that we can fill a 50000 stadium because chelsea only got 13,000 in 1984.
-
Yeah, so do you not think it might have been an idea to have some players who arent learning to help out a bit?
-
It seem to be saying this alot about our players, he's good but he's learning. He made a mistake, he will because he's learning, heard this an awful lot recently. Which makes it all the more laughable that when a few of us spoke about the need for Premier league experience in the summer we were told we were wrong and that a good player is a good player regardless of what level they'd played at. Now it seems a good player is a good player but if they make mistakes in the Premier league that's fine because they are learning.

This has of course been one of our strengths this season.

Are you seriously telling me you think Martin Skertel is better than Yoshida?

There is only one man equiped to do this job. Jonno Quick. With his pace he could sprint from left to right covering for everyone, for long balls forward or in behind the full backs he'd be able to sprint past the full back and attacking player and get to the ball first. He'd also be a great attacking option as we could hump the ball high into the air and long and with his lightening pace he could run onto it, between the centre halves and be in on goal, much like a rugby player does with a kick forward.

Theres no harm in it. I just dont understand the mass celebration and backlapping that our half time mascot is on the BBC news. It was midly amusing the first time on sunday, but comments like people hoping to see more entertainment like this from our mascot are just plain wierd. It's football FFS, you want to see people dressed up as animals go to Peppa Pig world.

They've got the terrible players that are Jordan Henderson and Stuart Downing in the side, the masively overrated Glen Johnson, a racist, buck tooth dwarf up front. It should be easy. Why are people saying we will lose?
-
Not at all Colin. I'm just failing to understand why so many seem to be overjoyed it's on the BBC website, it's a dancing dog FFS!
-
How wierd. Newcastle won the championship by 11 points, got over 100 points and were promoted with 5 games to spare. Then was sacked with them in 11th place in the premier league the following season. Yeah, massively overrated.
-
No anger. Some are going on about how it's great publicity for the club and delighted it's on the BBC news. It is't, its not a £10m signing or talking about are academy players as the future of English soccerball. its a video of a bloke in fancy dress dancing on the pitch. Why does anyone care?

Sounds, like soooo awesome.
