  1. It's hilarious isn't it. On the one hand Cortese is a brillaint businessman who will be able to get us into the champions league with clever investment and strategies. yet the owners of other, bigger clubs who are already in the champions league or far closer to it than we will ever be will throw tens or hundreds of millions of pounds at it, forget they aren't allowed to and get themselves banned. You really couldnt make that sort of logic up.
  2. Oh Christ, dont get Frank started about Germany again! We'll be onto dynamic pricing in a minute!

Funny isn't it. Only a few months ago Kelvin should be in the England squad, was better than most keepers in the premier league and miles better than Butland. Anyone who disagreed was shouted down. It was a disgrace he was selected ahead of him. Now people want Butland to replace Davis in our goal and he isn't good enough for the premier league, let alone England.
  4. The actual number of fans who will want tickets is 2,934. 43 of th fans in this number are saps that aren't allowed to go anywhere without their birds who will jealously insist on coming even if they don't want to, hence why we will sell exactly 2,977. Glad to assist.
  5. You're right UEFA and FIFA are to blame for not dealing with it properly. It's quite simple though, if a player says he has been racially abused by the crowd or a player he reports it to the referee. The referee and the other officials then make the call and have the power to take the players off the pitch. If it's loud racial chanting from a section of the crowd i'm sure once it's been brought to the attention of the officals they will hear it. If it's just the odd idiot in the crowd shouting something out then surely they should be left wit the stewards and police to deal with. You cant have players just walking off in a strop if they get a bit of abuse from a few people in the crowd, it'll be happening every week or everytime a player claims to hear something they dont like.
  6. As a panic buy, when the window had shut and we realised that we were short in the goalkeeping department.
  7. Surely this should be controlled by the referee, players leave the pitch if they deem there to be racial abuse. What is to stop a losing team walking off the pitch claiming they have been racially abused by the crowd but none of the officals heard it?
  8. Naturally. I was actually looking for a rare pair of retro 2000 World cup Paul Smith designed Reebok classics, what with me being a style guru and all that. Drawn a blank so far.
  9. You're missing the point, like a lot of people have. But then as you only read the thread title and none of the comments, points or discussion for or against your comment .is neither valid, patronising, accurate or considered. So express your disbelief all you want and keep your head in your little A* bubble.
  10. Gutted to have missed the opportunity, I was trainer shopping online.
  11. Quite. It's not about blaming people, simply asking the question that are we a better side, well at least better equiped to deal with playing better sides without Lallana. It's since developed into a discussion about Lallana and Ramirez. The fact of the matter is we've got more points against top 10 sides without one or both of them, than with them.
  12. I wondered what he was up to after he left Eastenders.
  13. F*Ck off then, put me on ignore. Good to see the new year hasn't stopped your obessesion and stalking of me Barry. Wierdo.
  14. FUlham won at West Brom, Villa won at Liverpool, Swansea won at Arsenal as did Wigan last season. You make out it's impossible to win there. I dont expect us to win there but we've lost at them all and taken one point from a possible 18 against the sides you mention. This point came when we didn't play with both Lallana and Ramirez. I'm not quite sure what you're getting yourself at it for. Can we afford to play openly with a striker AND two attacking midfielders who dont really track back away from home and againt top clubs? Results suggest we cant. No amount of highlighting and underlining is going to change that.
  15. Why does that make him "clearly crazy"?
  16. Scott Carson?
  17. What are you on about? We signed the "world class" Ryan Smith and Jonno Quick and his much fabled lightening pace and incredible strength.
  18. Would be a good move. Seems to be very well respected as a player and a good proffesional, just not a premier league goalkeeper.
  19. What's Chris Kirkand up to these days?
  20. Because Nigel Adkins has never, ever overstated a players ability before, has he.
  21. Because every player we have is GUARANTEED to get better. Every one of them has had the words 'is young and will improve' following their name this season at some point. It will definitely happen. Like it did with Ryan Smith, Jake Thompson, Lee Molyneux etc.
  22. Like the Sun is a reliable source. Massive tsk.
  23. Tsk. What would he know about our transfer dealings?
  24. Maybe he had an itchy nose and couldn't get to it because of his gloves.
  25. Adkins doesn't lie. Remember how quick everyone was to claim this when he denied he was being forced to play a certain way. If Adkins says we aren't signing a keeper, we aren't signing a keeper. He doesn't lie.
