If it was going to be paid back in six months then why would it be secured against next seasons income? -

And just to remind everyone of those words; "Clubs spend money they do not have, they spend next years money, They spend money that will not arrive for two years and say "we'll have some success and bring in more cash to cover the shortfall" it cannot be sustained. I'm good times you need to save money for bad times. If we reach the premier league I would like to be in a position where we didn't need parachute payments. In good years you should put money away for bad" Nicola Cortese May 2010. Wise words. -

On projects like this they are usually paid in stages, such as when phases of work are compete. Or in this case not paid in stages. -

Indeed, 'we won't comment on ever piece of rumour and speculation' were the words used I believe. Why start now? -
Its nice to have a ground in th city centre and where the club was formed rather than an out of town one stuck on a retail park. The stadium itself is a just like 15 others though. Of all the new stadiums of our size Coventrys is probably the best I've been to but still stuck in a retail park.

The one thing I'm struggling is why would we take out a loan secured against future income and pay an APR when we have multi billionaire owners who are Apparantly backing us? Cortese has also said in the past that if a time does arrive where they wont or can't then he has other people who can. it doesn't stack up. -

Dortmund are giving a great example of how to play away from home. Yes I know they are a much better side than us but they are compact and solid and breaking at pace. And their fans look and sound superb. -

You hope. £33m of debt written off and a loan taken out this year despite the owners not doing loans. Doesn't quite add up to me. -

So, what is everyone's view now? We've taken out a loan with an offshore company based on future revenues only months after £33m of debt was written off by the family. Are alarm bells starting to ring with people? -

Yep, it's easy to spend money using someone else's credit card. As Mrs Turkish often tells me. -
