  1. His taste in footwear is impeccable.
  2. The all you can eat buffet at a pilgrim House is worth every penny BTW
  3. Really? Where can I find a decent sized, good quality meal at Harvester prices Andy?
  4. You hear right sir.
  5. It brought shame on our club. I demand a blog from GWC giving his view on it so we know it's taken seriously.
  6. In that case Rangers could sing back 95 theses written in a book 95 theses written in a book And if one thick Catholic had had a proper look There'd be 94 theses written in a book
  7. And worth every penny.
  8. Isn't discussing pointless things what makes mongboards great sir?
  9. No, it's a polite question. "the famine is over, why don't you go home?" celtic fans could easily reply with "we love this country, we're going to stay here" which would be fine, instead they choose to boo and sing abuse during rememberance Sunday and chant pro IRA songs. I'm sure you find this perfectly acceptable though.
  10. Aren't we ITK!!
  11. It won't be that, because we've been told wages don't matter, it's all about the vision. That academy players will ignore £100k a week at Man U to stay at Saints and players will sign for us for less money than elsewhere because of the vision and the training facilities. Also not forgetting Southampton is near the sea and the new forest, it has the 7th best shopping centre in England and Portswood and Highfield junior schools are amoungst the best in Hampshire. Wages are irrelevant, weve been told.
  12. Is this story anything to do with after the Middlesborough away game?
  13. I could afford it but it costs more to pay by installments, that way I can give SFC and Cortese more of my money rather than doing it the cheap way of paying up front to save money, you peasant.
  14. I think it was just Timmy being bitter as usual, this time because he's still wearing his worn out Hi Tec squash trainers.
  15. Do you think Cortese would want a player that takes that view and it waiting for others options rather than commiting to the vision?
  16. mine was due out on the first and nothing out yet nor has my mate.
  17. I dont know what the problem is. I think some Rangers songs make valid points. Such as The famine is over, so why don't they go home? Its a perfectly reasonable question.
  18. I don't feell that you have used anywhere near enough emoticons on this post.
  19. I did one in the Serengeti when we went on safari, it was amazing. The highlight was flying over trees and the captain said to look over the side of the basket and running between the trees below us was a leopard with a cub in its mouth. We were literally about 20 foot above it scraping the top of the trees. Never done one in this country but it is a brilliant thing to do.
  20. Not sure how you work out that De Ridders 3 goals in his Saints career equates to scoring more goals from midfield. Or how you can say he has a better first touch, neither are particularly great. Or how he is better at tracking back when he's regularly been used as an attacking option off the bench when we've been chasing a game. Don't recall too many instances of great tracking back in those games. Well done on spotting that he is quicker though.
  21. And pace, down forget pace. Hence the clamour for every new signing to have pace. Hence the hero worship given to Steve De Ridder, despite his end product being woeful on most occasions. Hence the fact Antonio is a footballing god for some fans in these parts. Work rate, effort, pace. These are the only things that matter.
  22. We aren't the only club in for him, although we are further down the line than the others.
  23. Not the most enthusiastic interview I've ever heard despite the awful interviewer trying to convince him he should be excited about everything.
  24. You obviously know nothing about the history of the two clubs.
  25. For once you're right dumbass. This was probably thebest performance from a Saints Team ive ever seen. Totally dominated easily the best team in England by playing fast attacking football. IIRC we hit the wood work 3 times as well with Rideout smashing one against the bar from 30 yards with a great shot when the score was still 0-0. That was a great side. Makes you wonder what might have been if we'd kept Nicholl, who was sacked for finishing 12th the following season, or got someone decent in instead of Branfoot and been able to keep that team together.
