Exactly. Totally unnessasary. There are burger vans outside if people really are that desperate to eat and unable to cope without stuffing their fat faces for an hour and half. Get rid of the food and make them all beer outlets.
-
I agree and lets keep all the greedy, fat c*nts away from the food. You want to see morons kicking a ball from the half way life go to a village fete, you want to stuff your face with burgers go to Mcdonalds.

It's hilarious. It's also really funny to chant "Liverpool" and "You're gonna win f*ck all" at them.
-
Scotland and Northern Ireland dont really have a choice though do they.
-
Dont forget this little beauty.

Is it a sign of a positive relationship when a a manager is constantly threatened with the sack?
-
Sorry. What do you mean?

Jason Puncheon "does not cut the mustard" for me
Turkish replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Puncheon was excellent when he first joined, then when his formed dipped a bit and like everyone else, made a bad start to our promotion season all the divs started getting on his back. Is it just coincidence that both Guly and Puncheon have had dips in form when the crowd have started getting on their back? -
The Lad with the West country accent who was the guest on the cycling yesterday was hilarious. His comment about the girls team who got gold and broke the world record being " emotional things" cracked me up

Les Reids role is crucial. Cortese listens to him and whilst every decision is Cortese, football wise Reid is a huge influence. To give Cortese his due, unlike Lowe he knows he knows FA about football so leans on Reid for advice.

They had two fall outs in the summer. Adkins was "sacked" because he went off on holiday and Cortese was trying to contact him, about what I don't know, but he was unable too for 3 days, when he finally did he let rip at him saying a manager he can't get hold of is no good to him, he's sacked etc. This was the one Les Reid had to clam Cortese down over and made him see sense. the other one Was over the Gorkss deal. Adkins really wanted him and for whatever reason the deal never happened but the player was here expecting to sign only for the plug to be pulled at the last minute (unconfirmed reports cortese lost his rag with the agent) Again Reid acting as peace maker although on this occasion Adkins wasn't sacked.

See what I mean.Usual mongy response whenever anyone doesn't say everything is magnificent.
-
I'm sure I'll be shouted down for this but I know for definite this happened last summer and Les Reid had to sort things out and smooth everything over between them.
-
When was this? I know about one time about this time last year, during the summer. When else?

He was on radio 5 a few weeks back and same across as a really decent fella, as most of them do. Jessica;lovely girl. All of the seem like really decent humble people with no hint of arrogance and a great pride at being there. Probably also has a lot to do with why the whole country is gripped by it. The only times in my lifetime where its got close is Italia 90, the 05 Ashes and 03 Rugby world cup. It's rare for our sportsmen and women to be both successful and decent people.

Maybe, I find it a little strange that a manager who is preparing for his biggest season ever and achieved extraordinary things in his time here is regularly mentioning his future in a relatively negative way.
-
Can't have it all I guess.
-
More comments about his long term future as manager. Slightly odd in an otherwise positive article.
-
He was brilliant. Fantastic night.
-
I agree, really good guy.
-
A lot said that about De Ridder at first as well. He does look promising but I'm reserving judgement until he's played 20 or do games.
-
It's too early to say. He'll be popular with the fans because he's a nice guy, enthusiastic and runs around a lot. He also looked a bit lightweight last season and it remains to be seen if he can cut it. Remember how everyone raved about De Ridder after a few early performances but time has shown he really isn't the answer.
-
If he wins gold he'll be a ginger hero. It'll be a great step forward for them and he'll be a great inspiration to all ginger people around the world giving them the belief they can overcome adversity and achieve something.

Now on to Mo Farrah, another really decent bloke.
