Calm down the Voice of Reason. Who is having a pop at NC? I asked a very simple question. What would peoples view be of NC if he were to sack a popular and successful manager. I dont see anything wrong with that and i cant see anyone having a pop at NC.

I dont see what your problem is. Its a talking point and it seems to have some substance. The problem with this place is that if people want to talk about anything which doesn't suggest Cortese is the greatest man who ever lived then they are called negative.

Exactly. Those players were just desperate to see AVB sacked, they were underperforming ridiculously. It was only in cup competitions he did well as well, their league form didn't get much better. Lets also not forget he hardly set WBA alight which is a better benchmark of how he might do with us.

Dont sometimes people at the top of a business have to make diffcult decisions though? Raneri at Chelsea for example, did a great job and was popular with the fans and players, but wasn't the man to take them onto the next level the owner wanted.

Do we? I dont recall any statement from SFC or Pardew as to why he was sacked. A lot of speculation but no FACTS. Dont forget everyone dismissed rumours of a rift wtih Pardew and Cortese as idle chit chat and the people with an agenda and we all know what happened there.

As I said I have no idea and I was very surprised when I was told but I trust the person that told me and they've told me other things about SFC which have always turned out to be 100% accurate. Most of which I haven't put on here for the reasons stated above. Anyway, I'll leave you to speculate as to why.

Its the back up mentality most of our fans have. People seem to think we should have 11 first team players then 11 or so back up players of lesser ability that are happy to be here in case someone gets injured. This of course is utter nonsense and you need 20 or so good players to compete for the first 11 places in every position. This goes from glovesmen through to strikers.

Unfortunately the number of sources the rumours Are coming from that all is not well between NA and NC seem to suggest there is a problem. I didn't want to say on here as I'll just be accused of being a WUM or being negative but I was told back in February that their relationship was strained. People buried their heads in the sand about Pardew and dismissed it as media mischief making, it'd be very naive to do the same thing again.
