Weve had chances all season to put daylight between us and the lack we haven't. We've got a history of runners up in cup finals apart from one as a huge underdog. For some people it is, because as per our attendances since Relegion in 2005 a lot of fans only go based on who we are playing. For some of though that doesn't matter as we go to watch Saints and hopefully see us win. I can honestly say I'm in a weird place right now, I want Saints to win every game but I also m not fussed about being part of the Sky dream and being "plucky old Southampton, look t their fans, loving life in the premier league" which we would get for the first couple of season.

In the final we were 0-2 down, got it back to 2-2 nod extra time then lot 3-2. Im pretty sure we also beat also best West Ham on the way as well, plus Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
